i get you, and yes kyoka is popular now—but that popularity was built because of what she did during the show, not before. so to say she’ll win “because she’s popular” kinda erases the fact that she worked for that visibility through the show itself. plus, isn’t that the whole point of these survival shows? to build popularity through skills, concepts, etc.? if she and ojo gang earned people’s support over time, that’s not bias it’s literally how they’re supposed to win viewers over. and yeah public votes aren't always about technique but ojo gang is actually strong technically and conceptually. so even if popularity plays a role, it's not like they're coasting on hype alone. in short, their current popularity is a result, not the reason. and if they win, it’s still deserved.
