guys just some info if u are contemplating abt this!!
is the ml rich? - he is rich but not chaebol rich! his parents own lots of restaurants around their neighbourhood, so yea he was well-off
is their a lot of past scenes? i dont like those. - actually there are hs scenes in here but its not that much! plus, its part of the story and i actually enjoyed it sm that i wanted to watch the actual "documentary" that they were filming during hs
U can't really blame this cuz that's how beomwoo molded them. He stole recipes from restaurants, even shut them…
nah iâm not taking it âtoo seriously,â iâm just responding to your words. if youâre allowed to be mad at a fictional character for a scene, then iâm allowed to call out a take that came off harsher than intended. weâre both reacting here, popcorn and all shi i get ur point lol

i get that youâre trying to clarify, but your earlier comments came off way harsher than what youâre saying now. you said she had âno shame at allâ and acted like she proudly stole recipes, when the show clearly shows it wasnât that black and white. now you're saying she panicked, tried to be creative, and even warned yeonju all of which prove she wasn't comfortable with what was happening. youâre also drawing this hard line between the brothers and the staff, but thatâs ignoring context. the brothers were raised in it, yeah, but the staff worked under that same pressure every day,. fear isnât any less real just because someoneâs older. survival doesnât make someone greedy. you said they âseemed to know better,â but that doesnât mean they felt safe enough to act on it. beomwoo's system didnât reward morality it punished it. thatâs what made it so damaging. so yeah, maybe some of them went along with it longer than they shouldâve, but they werenât villains. they were victims of a toxic system, and when they finally realized what they were a part of, it broke them. that says a lot more about their humanity than your first comment gave them credit for.

i understand where you're coming from, but I think you're overlooking the depth of Beomwooâs influence. Yes, theyâre adults but adults can still be shaped by toxic systems, especially in high-pressure, competitive environments like the one Beomwoo created. He didnât just guide them, he controlled how they thought about success, worth, and ethics. he normalized stealing, crushing competitors, and chasing stars at any cost. That mindset doesnât disappear overnight, and it's not fair to expect them to instantly see the harm when they were rewarded for following his lead. as for the chef being proud, it wasnât pride in stealing. It was pride in what she thought she achieved at the time, before the full truth came out. But what matters is that they eventually did realize everything. the guilt hit them hard, especially after Beomwoo's own reckoning. They werenât shameless !!! they were MISLED. And once they understood the damage, the remorse showed. Accountability matters, but so does understanding how manipulation and conditioning affect people and how they grow once they break free from it. i only realized that this mindset was from their own mother on how she raised beomwoo and sunwoo
