Maybe an unpopular opinion but I think this drama is better than LBFD. I do not understand the whole fuss. Even individually , it is a good drama . There have been worse before but not this kind of uncalled for uproar. It absolutely does not make sense.

I totally agree. She is creepy with her observations and agreeing everything the ML proposes from ideologies to extra training.

Also take into consideration the fact that Tan Xuan Lin does not take XuGuangYu as his enemy even after what his father did then how can he treat Wanqing indifferently because of a hint as attacking his father would not help the Mu's and he is not a person to punish somebody for their father's sins even if there is an involvement.

I think Tan Xuan Lin is doing something and hiding from Mu Wanqing and it is an act because in one of the trailers I saw him saving her from the bombing as she tells him never to hide things from her as we see how it escalated in her almost losing her life. I am optimistic about it. Fingers crossed. Eagerly waiting for the week after the following to watch it.

I kind of expected Yu Er not to be affected by it because no matter what Qi Yan feels for her he has always made clear to her that she will not be his wife and she also from very early accepted YanZi as the empress given the fact she is the best choice available. I don't think she really understands what is the extent of Qi Yan's feelings for her as she was surprised when he said my Yu'er . She has no experience in such matters growing in all women's atmosphere and is naive enough to fully grasp the concept. She is unable to distinguish between her love and loyalty to Qi Yan. A person who is ready to die for the king would not feel remorse or sadness if he marries someone else for survival , protection or winning the ultimate game.
