yes, this a family drama BUT the writer's main focus was 33 (shaoshang), hence, this is a story of the life of shaoshang. the ml too, has a back story. if ur only here for the romance then u just need to bear w these first 12ish (sorry i forgot) eps. its a slow burn n the ml only appears briefly within these first eps. the rest nd especially part 2 would be mainly this couple focused.

ok, so. every year lmao since it has aired, i pick this up again n again to finish it but IDK. i just cant get past 30 eps???? it IS good. i mean its a revolution for xianxia's a 100% but im just never able to finish it. . idk y im telling this but yeah, lol.
If anyone is considering watching this, I must advise you not to depend on the reviews and comments here. *SPOILERS* (maybe?) -To me, it was a great watch. The body/face swap wouldn't bother you much if you just create a delusion for yourself that Lusi was the original princess. -I read that the ML was super creepy to some of the audience here. For me, his charm overshadowed it hehe. Trust me, man was SO in love. The princess would've obvi k-worded if itwasn't for him ALL. THE. TIME. -Yes, the princess didn't seem like one sometimes cause of how powerless she was. She also got everyone in trouble a good 3 to 4 times. (she really wanted to take revenge/help her people.) -The 2nd FL. GAWD. She left an impact in the end but i still have absolutely NO soft spot for her.
All i wish is that the ending could've been longer. . ps. i just copy pasted my prev old comment. camd here to say i miss this one but the comments were just aint it. so i gave u a few rsns to watch/not?? hehe
