also, is there a scene in the novel where ml reveals he cared for her only because of the book of destiny? or she somehow realizes it later on? was she heartbroken or understanding? buahaha sorry but i need to prepare myself since this seems very predictable.

esther was the perfect choice for this role i must say. at least, it suits her. she's not the generic, naive and annoying fl other xianxia's have normalized. she's soo cute and neither too naive nor dumb. she's got a charm.

yes!! part 2 has all we've been wanting- the revenge arc, the angst and especially the later romance!! mainly 081 and 33.

easily THE drama of the year for me as of yet. not only is it a blockbuster ip in China but is also garnering love and success globally. i just hope they stay consistent with the good script, editing and direction in part 2 as well 🙏
lusi and leilei as a cp, have really good chemistry *prays for them to pair again*
also, the whole cast is just- chef kiss.

next week is gonna be tough for our general, seeing his loved one getting engaged to someone else but hang in there general!
