I finished Eve earlier this week, and just felt this empty nothing when it was over. I turned this on, not actually…
that's because seo yo jis performance was excellent and while the ML was good but in reality they had 0 chemistry throughout the entire show until the last few episodes but even then it didn't really matter. the writing just wasn't good enough for the level of those actors. they shouldn't have touched the love aspect and left it purely for revenge. would've been much better

Dropped after one episode. Maybe I didn't give this show much of a chance but I have learned that if I felt bored…
might as well just not watch TV shows then with such a shitty opinion to drop things in one ep lol

9.5 in kdramas, i don't mix ratings between types because you can't honestly compare them. It's like comparing American cartoons and anime, they're completely different and shouldn't be compared

I'll write a real review later but all I got to say is screw reviewers on MDL like always, this is in no way a sub 8 show.....9.5 easy

Yeah it was briefly. He got tuberculosis and wasn't sure he'd make it and there was no one to take care of his daughter

I binged it for the exact same reasons. the negative comments made me driven to write a review and I ended up…
Going by the review comments you can tell most people here are definitely not able to deeply analyze realism and it goes way over their heads. They consider it "boring" but it's actually so beautiful seeing it. The best example of realism so far imho is Lost, that show is incredible but supppeeerrr slow and very deep

Title Black
Black 8/10

This show was pretty good for an 18ep drama. My only issue was that the pacing in the 1st 10 episodes is really bad, like discovering clues is extremely slow and it's like everyone is dumb. But it picks up massively after that... Like it's pretty much a whole different show lol

Honestly the last 8 episodes were beautifully done. High emotion, suspense, bad assery, fates hand, conspiracy coming to a close etc etc. It was everything you expect in a suspense thriller and even the music was good. Reminded me a bit of Chicago Typewriter. In fact.... While not even remotely the same it's a pretty good one to watch after lol

This show has some twists you'll probably figure out, but overall it's pretty enjoyable. Though the best actor was 100% the ML. The FL was a bit lacking and wasn't on his level honestly and was a bit annoying at times. I wish they touched on the subject of messing with fate more though because every time they did it had a reaction. Fate is an interesting topic to discuss so if they would've gone more philosophical on it instead of pure crime drama with supernatural stuff it would've been even better imho.

Overall if you're looking for a suspense thriller with murder, mystery, corruption, saving people, trying fate, etc where you can put up with 10 episodes of 6-7 tier content, then 8-9 tier at the end then you wont be disappointed

.....2ep in?..... Jesus what a review
I finished it, they definitely had a lot of chemistry but i can see your issue with it. The 2nd couple had a story of communication problems that they had to work through. The main couple story was based on old wounds resurfacing and not letting them move fwd. If anything this drama was more realistic with some slight exaggerations. I personally liked it as it but close to home as everything boiled didn't to communication and understanding and I've been through that myself

Welcome to Waikiki Season 1, 9/10

This show can only be described as one thing, the Gintama of the kdrama world. Holy crap the amount of jokes in the sitcom executed so well had me absolutely dying. One of my favorite scenes has got to be the car scene.... What a mess lol

This show is a sitcom mixed with romcom. While technically the romcom is the main story, the sitcom portion is what makes the show. If you like comedy this is the show for you. Nothing ever goes right for our cast and that's what makes it more hilarious but they're a tight-knit group that takes care of each other even in rough times.

Just to give a taste of the comedy style check this clip out. It doesn't spoil anything it's just a skit essentially but imho it's comedy gold lol

https://youtu.be/dRHHDEf8PBQ

Enjoy!

PS: Season 2 has pretty much nothing to do with Season 1. From all the comments I've read you can consider it's completely disconnected story as only one actor came back and they only briefly mention anything from the first season.

Business Proposal 8.5/10

This drama is basically your traditional romcom with the normal tropes besides one, strong female lead that doesn't really back down.

They go through pretty much all the basic cliches and stuff but you know what, it was done really well. The cast was entertaining and the story around it was pretty good imho.

I enjoyed this one very much. It was a bit short at 12 ep but there was barely any fluff so it worked out well.

Definitely a recommend watch if you're looking for a standard easy binge rom com

Forecasting weather and love 8.5/10

This show is a bit different than most I've watched. Its mostly realism with some exaggerations thrown in and a few classic tropes as well but honestly it moved well throughout the entire show.

This show revolves around the lives of team 2 at the KMA. They predict weather changes and etc but that's just our backdrop. Plays an important role but of course not the main. The main revolves around our 2 sets of leads. They actually go through many of your standard issues in relationships in real life and its probably why i liked it so much. Communication, frustration, being lost, bad family issues, societal pressures and expectations, etc. Honestly the biggest theme in the show is communication and something I've learned in my 10yr relationship is how important it is. We miss clear signals or overblow others and keep making mistakes over and over again but you eventually learn how to communicate with each other. That's the main theme of this show and probably the main thing that let me binge it quickly.

One of the characters seems pathetic, a loser, waste of space, etc lol but he does eventually grow tf up! Though before that just like @Asch said he needed a good punch to the face lol

If you like realistic dramas you'll most likely like this one as for the most part everything that happens in the show happens in real life. There's some story elements that were a but rushed but an enjoyable watch nonetheless especially at the end.

Enjoy the weather :)

Juvenile Judge 9.5/10

The only reason this show isn't a 10 is because there's not more of it lol

This show instantly shot up on my list to be in my top 5 of all time honestly. This show takes what's really good and law and order and amps up the feels to the max. You feel fucked up watching this show and tears ran down my face for most of it. It hits really hard.

I'm summary this is a procedural judicial show about kids in the system for all types of reasons. If you took psychology at any level it will help you understand a lot of it. How big and impactful the nurture side of upbringing can be to your whole life.

You feel sadness, anger, happiness and all types of emotions watching this show. They really went all out with the scenes and writing even though certain parts could've gone more in depth but it wasn't too much.

If you like crime dramas, stories of upbringing, and a good cry, this is the show to watch. Trust me it's really good

Enjoy

Thinking back on this drama i don't get why people like it. Ive watched over 100 kdramas now and this one doesn't deserve a high rating at all. Yet all i see in the comment are people who think bad story telling and character decimation is a good thing. The only truly good parts of this show are the side characters. They had a complete story the rest didn't

Snow is On The Sea (Movie) 8/10

This was a real tearjerker about love and disease. The only real issue with it was pacing, too short, and gaps in the story. It was basically filmed like one of those short French art films, that's what i got from it.

Everything else was done well though the acting, the core story, the romance, the music, etc.

Fate can be a cruel mistress at times. Reminds me a bit of Your Lie in April but not exactly.

I think if this movie was a like a 6-12 episode series it could do very well as the main issue was not having a fully fleshed out story due to time constraints so they did a lot of fast forward cuts into the future by small increments of time

Man man man......what a show with potential but soooo poorly executed. I'm going into spoiler territory with this one because it just had so many issues.

So where to start? Had a great beginning, decent ending but the middle.... Yikes. We start of with one of our leads getting stuck in NK and living out his youth there and then we meet our FL who then both go through so major trauma and troubles. They finally get a ray of hope and its squashed. Basically the entire first arc is beautiful honestly. Loved how they portrayed everything in this part of the show.

Beginning the second arc it's like the writer had no idea where to take the show from there so started throwing balogna at the wall and including every idea that stuck lol

We get love stars, NK refugee, political crazies, spies, standard hospital bs with the higher ups, medical competition x3, tons of misunderstandings, forcing another FL throughout entire show making her dumber and dumber as the show progressed, etc etc etc.

It was just disheartening. Finally in the end the writers picked back up after 14 episodes of meh. And we got a decent end with most loose ends being tied.

I know this review is so over the place but this is exactly how the show is, a freaking mess that doesn't know what it wants to be. They wanted to mix in so many genres that the show became a mess. If they would've stuck with one, cut out the pointless love star because it added nothing to the story but bs jealously, it would've been much better.

I read later that apparently the writer had never written a drama before and it showed because they knew exactly how to start it and end it but the middle was almost all pointless fluff.

This is one of my lowest rated shows which says something because i usually give 8s and up lol

I only finished because i wanted to see the end of the leads story which i was happy with. Everything else was at best ok to watch.
