Bad and Crazy 8.5/10

What can i say about this show... Such a fun watch. Takes the classic buddy cop show formula and throws in a twist that actually adds to the story. It was fun all the way through honestly and i enjoyed every minute of it.

It's got everything you'd like in this genre, growing, camaraderie, evil villains, justice, etc.

Also it's one of the few dramas I've watched that has 5.1 surround. Audio is probably one of the worst parts of kdrama land, almost none use any form of surround at least in my experience through direct rips or through Viki and other apps. Audio is such an important part of the viewing experience and idk why they don't take it more seriously

But yeah either way enjoy :)

Bulgasal: Immortal Souls 9/10 Ok short description, similar to Goblin in many ways so if you liked Goblin you'll love this oneSo this show is about people who's stories span centuries. A bloody tale of love, loss, And revenge. I really enjoyed this one, it was an emotional rollercoaster but easy binge all the way through.ML and FL did great and the FL didn't fall victim to what they did to get in Itaewon class, God i hated how they treated characters in that show. The side characters were mostly good but the detective and the old lady were the best. The rest were okay at best but made a few dumb decisions.I hate spoiler so the most I'll say is that there's monsters, there's immortality, there's misconceptions, and intertwined Destinies and curses.Definitely watch if you enjoy fantasy revenge romance

Dr. Romantic Season 2 - 7.5/10

Sigh after such a great season 1, season 2 was almost a copy paste rehash but with less likeable new doctors. It's almost like all the progression made in s1 almost didn't matter. The best be characters were the bone Dr and the new director. Bone doc was just an interesting character even though they tried to not make him interesting, and the director was basically fighting himself because he was such a principled man and couldn't see how he was going against everything he thought he stood for, similar to ML from s1 but in a different way.

I think what really sucked in this one was the patient stories, the endings to most of them were just left in the air with no followup. S1 usually went over every single one.

The new docs weren't bad but just not on the same level as the ones in s1. They improved over time with actual work and practice over like a 1yr period while these 2 just magically grew exponentially in 2 months. Just a bit weird is all

All in all of you liked the 1st season, it's worth continuing, I'm hoping s3 had everyone return and continue the story we really wanted

Dr. Romantic Season 1 - 8.5/10

Really loved this show because it's the doctor equivalent of a power fantasy lol Main doctor is just a badass while the others are just learning and growing while being in his presence.

The way they handled patients story, surgery's and hectic environment was truly a fun watch and the characters believable issues with some depth. They weren't perfect soldiers at first but perfected their craft under their new teacher.

My main issue with this show was how the ML was going against his principles to grow more and more betraying everything that made him first become a doctor. But this was also part of his characters growth i just wish it didn't take such a long time.

The FL is great as well, very charismatic and funny but i wish they explored her trauma more. Sometimes i think i kdramas take mental health issues but as serious as they should

All in all, a good watch

Misaeng: Incomplete Life 9/10

This show is pretty much a slice of life regarding work culture, but this is a very basic explanation of this show. In reality it deals with so much. Stuff like work life balance, wanting to achieve greatness, jealousy of others situations but getting the full picture, workplace abuse, sexism, etc etc. You could go on forever because it's like they lumped in almost all common workplace issues into one show but in a good way.

The story is about multiple people but the main thing is about how the MLs life falls apart and he's got a new start, a new beginning. He doesn't know much in the beginning but he works hard to achieve his goals, and as all new employees will do, they make mistakes and become arrogant at times.

Im not going to spoil anything but it's a great watch. It's not super easy to binge imho but it's very interesting, up there with Lost but obviously not even remotely in the same genre.

My only gripe was the ending arc, i felt like it was a bit forced but it ended well either way even though there were loose ends but i think that's in purpose as we're supposed to imagine this is daily life so the loose ends are up to our imaginations

Title I Do, I Do
I Do, I Do - 8/10

I really enjoyed this story besides a few cliché's. It's a story about a one night stand that ends in pregnancy, bunch of hijinks, hiding true emotions, falling in love, and becoming a better human being. The comedy was fun, the situations were somewhat believable to an extent of course, and the romance we pretty good. I liked how when any huge problems happened they didnt dwell on them for too long to, so its more like a feel good rom-com drama. The only thing i didn't like was the small bit in one episode being really anti-abortion (but not by the main cast but some 1 off cast and 2ML)

Overall if you're in the mood for a laugh with a bit of tears, i recommend this show

Descendants of the sun 8.5/10

This was your standard feel good rom com without the bs breakup trope for once lol it was good though, strong MLs, strong FLs, fun story, good supporting cast etc.

I enjoyed how it wasn't just instant love, instead contemplating possible issues in the relationship prior to starting was a realistic thing (and kind of foretelling of their real life relationship).

I like how the conflicts, the drama, the funny moments, everything just played into the story very well. The parts in Urk were probably the best imho. I don't like spoiling anything in my reviews so i don't go super in depth but i can say that everything was pretty well done in this drama.

My only gripe, was "captain agus" didn't like his character at all

The Innocent Man 8.5/10

This show was definitely a rollercoaster. At first you basically want the evil FL to die a painful horrible death but even my best attempts, their humanizing got through to me to an extent lol

The main point of the show is that everyone has their circumstances and reasons for their actions, regardless if they're justified or not.

The best way i can compare the story without to many spoilers is that it's essentially the same main plot from Cowboy Bebop with an additional new FL love interest. ML is spike, Rose is the evil bitch, Viscious is the evil lawyer etc. Almost had a somewhat similar ending as well lol

Overall this show started as a revenge drama that really made you mad, then there was a humanizing arc and then the finale with all the resolutions. Its very Soap Opera like as well

OST is great though, gives 12 monkeys movie vibes

Find Me In Your Memories - 8.5/10

I really enjoyed this drama, very heartfelt and fun romance with some thriller aspects that were pretty good. I thought the handling of standard tropes was as smooth as it could be until the last one that was doubled....i really hated that one because it was forced by external factors and imho shitty writing that was completely unnecessary to the story.

Other than that, the FL was beautiful throughout the story and i thought acted very well and the ML sold his part as a gentleman. I have no real complaints about the portrayals of any of the cast and think they did a great job.

Story wise as i said earlier it was great until the last major trope, really hated that but luckily it didn't last too long. Great story of love, moving on, mental health issues, and vile villains including knetz lol

Doctor Prisoner 8.5/10

Best way to describe this show is like the first half of Death Note without the supernatural stuff. Just Light and L going after each other over and over and over until one prevails in the end. There's no real hero in the show, more of an anti hero like Devil Judge. Good show though, you have to binge this or you'll forget details. No way you can leave this going for weeks.

Overall loved the premise, was a bit exaggerated but the story was fun and enticing. Definitely recommended watch if you like anti hero/evil vs greater evil plots like Devil Judge

Beauty Inside 8.5/10

I really enjoyed this drama, as the title states it's falling in love for what's inside not outside and persevering for that love.

I really enjoyed the actors attitudes and it had a similar feel to This is my first life, same ML as well and he practically played the same character lol

My only gripe was the forced separation/break up trope. I really wish they'd handle these things differently. Also the last two episodes felt completely different, like the directing completely changed for some reason to more like a slice of life. Idk why, it wasn't bad but it wasn't the same as the previous 14 episodes that's for sure

Oh yeah i forgot to mention, LOVED that the conglomerate family weren't pieces of sh*t for once. Truly a breath of fresh air with that

Title Hit the Top
The best hit/hit the top 7/10

This show is an example of completely bad writing squandering such high potential for an amazing story. The show had no real direction after the first few episodes. They dropped story points left and right, dragged others out over the entire show, downplayed pretty much everything problematic, glossed over everything that should've been shocking af, etc etc. The story also pretty much went no where the entire show, almost nothing really happened at all. It was more of a slice of life with someone who time traveled but had no real effect on the story. Idk what they were thinking with this one honestly.

This isn't too say it was terrible or anything, other things made up for it imho. Humans not being complete trash for once was nice, the comedy was decent, the romance while... Weird lol was decent, and the family dynamic was nice as well.

Overall if you're bored i would watch it, but it's not something amazing to spend your time watching

Really slow and draggy. The story was short but it got stretched way too thin with fillers for 16 episodes. They…
Yeah been watching this and i feel the same way. There's soooo much they could've done better with but the story basically guess absolutely no where for so far 12 episodes. It's funny and somewhat interesting but so nothing interesting has happened and they've seemingly dropped earlier story lines. The writers really just let everyone down here imho. Waiting for the last 4ep for a show to get interesting is ridiculous

Hogu's Love 7.8/10

This story was honestly a very hard subject matter and painful as well but the main story was done well. Love and understanding preserved is the main take away from the drama.

What made this drama not become a 9/10 is that they added so many ridiculously forced bs misunderstandings that they majorly took away from the story. They should've never existed and the reasoning behind most of them were garbage. It actually ended up hurting most of the supporting cast honestly and a huge miss on what sexual identity is. Then again it's south Korea so LGBTQ+ isn't exactly widely accepted there so i get it but it really took away from the story. If they just removed that and the bs misunderstandings and focused more on the core subject matter in a slightly more serious tone it could've been a 9/10 easy.

Basically your standard heart warning amnesia show but with fun and great comedy. Truly enjoyed it as it was a really cute story and growing attachments. There's no huge conspiracy or mean af rich people finally so I'm glad it didn't have those tropes. People were just people. All in all, i laughed, i cried, and i smiled throughout the show :)
