Gotta say i really enjoyed the drama, the comedy was gold the romance was cute and the story was well written even though a bit over the top with the villain stuff but we all know kdramas like to exaggerate. I really enjoyed the chemistry between the leads, the FL was naive and an idealist while the ML was more a realist but their dynamic on screen was great. I especially liked how he was towards her throughout the show, just being there for her which was the opposite of the villain who wanted to basically own her like a possession.
I don't want to spoil anything but omfg they played me throughout the show multiple times flipping all annoying af classic tropes lol i fell for it until i realized it later in the show.
Facts i hated how they kept trying to push Taecyeon as the star when Woo Do Hwan is the real ML of this show
It was a bit forced you could tell honestly the show needed 20 more minutes to fully flesh out the ending. But overall it was great, you could read my review a bit above yours. I saw how pissed you got in yours lol honestly those rap* scenes...i dont think I've ever watched a piece of media that could actually make me feel what a woman feels in that moment. It was completely disgusting, vile, cringe inducing ugghhhhhhh.....just made me glad that ahole finally died
What can i say about this show....This is a rage binge watch because you are filled with so much anger, hatred, disgust, frustration, anxiety, etc while watching this show. This show is basically a piece on human depravity, manipulation, greed, and filth. The only other show that has made me want the villains to die on this level was Game of thrones with joffrey and cersi lol honestly there were parts of this that honestly put me in the mindset of a rape victim and how utterly disgusted they must have felt. I just wanted to jump through the screen and k*ll that guy half the time.
It's a really good show and I'm also glad i finished it as it felt like an eternity trying to get to the end(not in a bad way either lol) my only gripe was that they tried to give more exposure to Taecyeon even though Woo Do Hwan was the true ML of the show. Some of his parts seemed like they forced him to be the star is all. Seo Yea Ji was phenomenal as usual, on par with her performance in It's okay not to be okay.
I absolutely loved this show, my only complaint was the villain stuff, didn't really add anything to the plot. Other than that it was a beautiful love story and the end omg so good
Overall it was enjoyable. My main gripe was that it was filmed like something from the 2000s, especially in the beginning so the production style isn't even remotely as cinematic or real feeling as newer dramas but the story was good and the comedy was gold. There were a few tropes but not to bad. I try to not do spoilers so i keep it a bit vague. Oh and my favorite part of the pay back...ooofff so good lol my 2nd part of the show honestly besides the comedy. the show is a bit overrated but a good watch nonetheless
What can i say about this drama...... beautiful story of love and realizing that you should prioritize your happiness over others, but at the same time not at the expense of others.
This show is very mellow but beautiful. The cinematography, the romance, the FLs growing smile, i could go on. But i just found myself wanting more as each episode progressed. It's got a few tropes but executed very well imho. This is a slice of life romance, but it truly doesn't feel like other shows that are slow, it's just beautiful honestly. Hit me right in the feels
I hear your voice - 8.0/10It's a good drama but you might be annoyed by the old feel of it. It doesn't have the production value more modern dramas have but if you watch it taking into account that it's a product of it's time its a good watch. It's a good story of court room battles, noona love story, revenge plot, and growing as a person. Good overall
Also ignore the haters about the age gap. He's not underage in the show or in real life lol
This show is a lot more real than most. There's no huge dramatics, misunderstandings, or people that seem that could only exist on tv. If there's anything this show is good at is having an almost perfect real life portrayal of normal people and their everyday struggles. You come to find that everyone has flaws and no one is perfect and that nearly everyone in the show isn't good but they're not bad either(except one person).
It's a very slow burn type of show so not for everyone. But the dialogue, the music, the cinematography, the acting, all superb honestly. It's essentially an art piece in my eyes just gave it an 8.5 because it's not 100% my preference.
Idk what either of those are lol it's basically a judge giving his own form of justice. He's not a good guy but i guess that can be subjective. Is really good and fun watch imho
It's because there's barely any kdramas like this one. It was just that freaking good. Devil judge was a different story completely but had a similar feel i guess. I just like the whole antihero being the main character i guess. Not exactly evil but definitely not a good guy either lol

I did not lol it started good but went on a trail spin down to the bottom. I was utterly disappointed. Something similar to this would be run on, did a much better job imho
I've seen both, hometown cha Cha was better imho because the towns people had more life. The main leads also had…
Well for some people they like the chase more than the after. Personally i liked the after because she supported her man and didn't just leave him to suffer. She gave him space when he needed and helped him when he needed. It was beautiful honestly
Omg I can't believe the reviews I read above. I watched Hometown cha-cha-cha and I couldn't help but think about…
I've seen both, hometown cha Cha was better imho because the towns people had more life. The main leads also had a better story without to much bs like chocolate. Both good healing dramas though, but htccc was definitely better at least to me
