A drama that could have focused on both the sport and the romance. They had 38 episodes but just made the drama more about romance and office politics. A subpar 8.0 from me
Let's be honest, the CGI when compared to other Cdramas, it's above average but it still isn't great. I don't really like how the background CGI is... Love between fairy and devil background CGI felt more spacious. Also the editing is choppy and some of the edits have been sloppily done. Even with all that flaws, I'm still finding this drama very interesting
18 episodes were good. Episodes 19 and 20 were well...not bad but not good either. The overall story is lacking. The chemistry is nothing stellar but I liked it. It wasn't off the charts, neither was it forced. It was smooth. I meant their chemistry not their relationship, so don't get me wrong here. It had good pacing and good OSTs. An overall 8.0. from me.
I've seen lots of anime with romance in it as well and this ain't it. In romantic anime, more often than not,…
Well, I have no idea what you wanted to prove with the rom-com genre reveal. Aaaand I'm not gonna bother explaining the rest. It feels like my words are wasted on you. You are watching this drama through an already very biased pair of glasses. My advice to you now is that you should think about whether to drop it or not. If you want to continue watching it, even though you don't like it, it's fine...it's all up to you. :) Cheers🥂

There are signs of affection. But not all affection needs a physical attachment or form. It might come in the form of an emotional attachment/form as well. Just like how they look at each other. The way how they think about each other. Things they do with each other in mind. These are all signs of emotional attachment. Forbidden marriage was silly and was more of a joke. I mean that's the style they chose, I'm not ridiculing it, I'm just stating facts. Yes, there are some serious moments but some moments in Forbidden marriage felt forced and some felt silly. I actually didn't give forbidden marriage a good score because of the bad execution of those silly scenes. Pulling off silly scenes in dramas is very difficult, and I guess only few dramas could execute such scenes without the degradation in quality. For example, cdrama, "The romance of tiger and rose" and kdrama, "Mr. Queen". Both of which had so many silly scenes but only made the drama much better.
Also, your view of romance is somewhat limited. I guess this drama will actually give you a wider PoV on what romance is. I'm saying this as a person who has watched more than 5 varieties of dramas which excludes my viewership of anime, manga and comics.

Well, I guess you got the point and then actually debunked it yourself. I've been watching anime from my pre-teens to right up until now(more than 15 years) . And well, you're speaking about approach. Basically the buildup to the relationship. You just said that there are romantic stuff happening on a regular basis. Okay, I agree. Like what? I mean like what? Tell me. Every line you type is a contradiction to your own previous line.
Also, no offence, but I am neither getting paid nor getting any kickbacks from typing these comments. If you have an issue with the drama, then that's your problem...not mine and neither is it the problem of the people who support it.
Just like you're my hero, this drama just puts me to sleep. I guess I'm not into dramas like this where the relationships are steady. I'm sorry but I'm dropping this at episode 25.
Watched 1/3 of episode 18 and well...I still feel that the pacing is just right. I will wait for episode 19 to release today and will watch the rest of episode 18 with episode 19 today or tomorrow.
Most of the complaints here are because of the slow-burn romance. Well, actually I've watched countless dramas. English dramas, Sinhala dramas, Japanese dramas, Chinese dramas and obviously Korean dramas.
I have found that most far east Asian dramas have a trend of revealing the romance half way through the drama. But then again there are dramas that do not conform to this trend.
These dramas conform to the trend of "Anime". Yes you saw clearly. And I've watched plenty of anime to be a good judge of this.
There are plenty of anime that use romance as the climax and the end of a series. And Yes, standard animes are only 12 to 13 episodes with only 24 min standard airtime but that would all the more likely should make the writer reveal the romance midway, right?
Well, it's wrong and right. It's how you perceive a genre. Manga artists/ anime creators believe that the build up to a relationship is also romance itself no matter how insignificant it is. And Yes, not all animes tend to follow this trend just like not all kdrama would follow their own trend either.
60 episodes ...lol, those who come here for romance will probably have to wait till 25 to 35 episodes to get that romance but can't wait for 20 episodes to get romance in korean..what a joke.
