That was a well done ending. Def have to think about this review and how to address it properly. Def way more…

I was searching for this comment, it's the first time m seeing such heavy lines in k drama .... giving me vibes…

One of the worst productions i've ever seen in my entire life inside the KDramas universe. It is so demented,…
Well, production isn't that bad. There are worse. I mean much worse. Anyways, I think it's best you actually look at it from deeper perspective. There's a certain group that's it's trying to sound out in the first 2 episodes. It starts with an I and ends with an I. Selling the soul, making a slave contract, the evil one, idols taking on dark themes as if possessed... doesn't it sound like something we already know about the industry. Instead of being direct, the drama is trying to portray it through fantasy.

So no one's gonna speak about the ...well... Slave contract, selling one's soul for fame, the evil one, acting evil is nothing for idols...etc. This clearly is trying to showcase something dark even if it's fantasy. Hmmm... This definitely has deeper meaning to it's plot.

Title Cruel City
The first 6 minutes of ep 10 is one of the hottest scenes I've ever seen...
But they editet too much of it out. I believe if it was web series then more of it would have been streamed. But unfortunately, we were in the age of airing it on tv first TT

For those who want to be spoilt
The ML is still alive. The reason why everyone thinks he's dead is because 'the under cover agent' /doctor's son/Jung shi hyun had to die in order for him to start a new life. I think that's the only bit the write got right.

Title Cruel City
Old is old but not gold, this time around. However good it may have been those days, it is lacking nowadays. The editing is lacking, the fight choreography aren't directed properly, and unnecessary romance all contributed to a half hearted attempt to make a goodaction drama. The FL felt more like a supporting character than anything else. I believe her character was as good as an NPC from a B grade video game title. From episode 14, I could feel the writer finding for something...but not getting anything out of it. In the end, it ended up a hot steaming pile of mess. It's villains, were the worst of them all. Fat, ugly and then ..idk.. I guess the writer threw one of the good guys under the bus since he kept on telling lies. Anyways, a mess is a mess and it was an ugly mess. A truly deserving subpar 6.5 from me.

Yup, I think padlocks would have been more secure than that smart lock XD
