SML ruined all his chances in the cottage scene when he put the barrier, that was the last thread that the FL held for SML. She did forgive him but obviously the dynamic will never be the same as it used to be. SML was someone she grew up and trusted, in her POV, he lied, hid the secrets to her top desire that she's been chasing aimlessly for 10 years and doesn't trust her by controlling her actions thinking that whatever decision he makes is the best for her.

Bailu and ARP look beautiful in modern clothes and classy in modern dramas. But i feel they are on another level when it comes to xianxia dramas, like seriously both of them look so gorgeous and ARP rocks the long hair

it's a joke. Most dramas the ML act in has the twin trope in it

Tbh, gonna give this a watch mainly for the 2nd couple. Hope they have lots of scenes together

Why are they hating on them and the plot? I actually like the story as it touches on many aspects of life : non blood related family ties, brotherly love, depression, school life and its pressure, overcoming trauma... like what more do people want? 😭

How did they even ship it? Idk if the novel is BL or not but for the drama, they looked how cousins would. I liked their brotherly love. This is also weird when it comes to 2 guys. Cause for another drama where there is a male and a female who act very close but are only siblings (not blood related, just grew up together), I don't see people shipping them. Do people think 2 guys cab't act without any romantic feelings? Me and my best friend act like the 2 guys in this drama and I'm certain both of us are straight

Haha, for example a kissing scene in gumball used to get censored. For animes, many of detective conan scenes got censored

This censorship is reminding me when my country used to censor kids cartoons. Like wtf is wrong with them? God forbid a non blood related cousin to show affection to his younger cousin in a non romantic way? Hope viewers don't think the actors are the ones lacking the chemistry cause it's all on the censorship this time

Yeah, which is why I find the family he's in is very forgiving. Those are rare in historical dramas tbh, especially if they are not his own parents. Something I also liked is regarding the poem, usually the cousin would feel inferior if the ML turns out to be smarter than him but here, it's the opposite. It's even better that the cousin's parents themselves told their son to not steal it. If every family in historical dramas were as nice as them, we wouldn't be getting half the drama from them 😂 (Proceeds to remember the families of the leads from blossom)

I really love that the family he's with are all funny and supportive but mostly : very funny. Usually in this genre, a useless ML and FL has an abusive family (even before he proved his skills, the aunt was more strict than abusive, like the ones who attempt to poison their own families in historical dramas)

This is one of those rare daily dramas where the couple isn't screaming at each other like children for 30 episodes. Both FL and ML are actually not annoying which I quite like. Usually one of them is very mean or super annoying for no reason at all (seems for this drama, it's only the case with the 2nd couple)

5 episodes are released now. Love it, 5 is even better than 4. It keeps getting better

As much as I hate the 2nd FL, what she said to the brother is right. He shouldn't involve innocent people in his revenge plot (aside from hiding the Dubai deal, the ML has been nothing but honest and hardworking). The brother is becoming the person he's having revenge on

The actors are mature, the FL actually sounds her age and isn't stupid or annoying or poor. The plot is nice and the acting is decent. Why do all these kind of elements always happen in short series, I wouldn't mind a full length drama of this kind 😭

I actually feel bad for the ML cause he's stuck with her. It's obvious she doesn't even love him, she just treats him as a high class accessory

Tbh, compared to MLs from past family dramas, this one is pretty tame. I actually feel bad for him, his GF is still mingling with the ex even if she doesn't want to admit it and is hiding the fact that she used to date him. That's kinda rough on the ML who hasn't wronged her at all. I also hate the ex (FL's brother), like don't bring your revenge on outsiders, ML has done nothing wrong to him and it's like he's rubbing the fact that he stole his potion on his face

Aside from the FL and the kid, the ML and his mother, all the rest are trash. Some might not agree with me but this is just how i'm seeing it

I'm trying to understand who's the FL that will end up with the ML here. Based on the ending song, it seems every female here is interacting with him

Tbh, i have no problems with them, but I thought if I praised everything here, I might sound biased to some people 😂
