Title Last Summer
My god, I started this today thinking it would be a love triangle between two Lee Jae Wooks and the FL (and that would have been fun honestly), but wtf is this even. Why even have the twin angle, it's useless. I can't believe this got greenlit as a script.

Lee moo saeng is a total Badass. Born to star in narcos: korea but forced to do makjangs.
LMAO, but for real, he made the character mesmerizing and was the most interesting one of them all. Absolute badass gangster with a heart of gold that you believed.

My review:-A 10 episode of fillers for those who loved the AOS:1.
Yesss ahahahah, this entire season could have been told in one episode honestly: Jang Uk is brought back to life, Master Lee saves Mudeok's body and transforms it into Naksu's, powerfull priestess lying in hiding in said body awakens and saves the world from evil Jin Mu. Priestess abandons ship and Jang Uk and Naksu live happily ever after. The end.

Assassin Naksu was like that because she was in pain and wanted revenge for losing her family. Priestess Naksu…
I think it's more about Naksu losing all her agency. I agree it's better for her not to live as an assassin of course, but people don't want to see her kill, they want to see her fight for herself (in whatever way possible: with words, her brain, etc.). That's what Mudeok did even when she lost her physical abilities - she schemed her way forward in life, she never gave up.

What we got with Naksu 2.0 was essentially a pretty tool - a powerless damsel in distress used either by Jin Seolran or Jang Uk. She never did or chose anything by herself in the end and that's SAD as F as the show began with her as an independent feisty woman in charge of her life and ended with her as a weak nobody who's borrowing the body and powers of another woman and using a man to protect herself in every way. She wasn't even contributing to making plans in the end, like her savvinness and opinions and experience and training -- all irrelevenat. Let the grown ups save the world, you go to sleep kid while we take care of shit.

So yeah, people got disappointed.

Although im very happy about getting a happy ending to everyone, i wish they could've given us more than that.I…
I feel like not seeing the characters' reactions to many huge events spoilt this show for me many times. Like what is it with the random emotion-killing time jumps?? They have a talented cast, use them properly for gods sake!
I wanted to see the aftermath of season 1 ending's too and we got none of that, nobody's reaction to what Mudeok did, them processing that, trying to figure out what had happened, nothing. We skipped over that tragedy like it never happened and fast forwarded into the future. I dunno, that felt unnatural to me, like they were forcing me as a viewer into amnesia (or stupidity).
And also, so many important revelations in season 2 and then no scenes where the characters REALLY process and react to these huge revelations. But so many pointless scenes between Kim Doju and Pak Jin. Really??
I don't know whether it's the writers or editor, but somebody on that crew has no idea what emotional development and logical plot building mean.
I'm happy for the characters as their fan, but as a viewer the finale was kinda...so-so. Still, at least it's not tragic so thumbs up. The dialogue and plot execution left much to be desired, but then again that's the conclusion for this entire season.

Overall great story and ideas, sloppy execution towards the end. I think if they cut out a lot of the unnecessary scenes with random side characters they could have made this a much better show with one season overall.

Who do the 3 corpses in the end belong to?? Im hella confused, I started crying without even understanding whats…
Exactly what I've been doing as season 2 progressed - crying without understanding what the hell is going on with this show....

Lol.... there is only one person, and it's Naksu with amnesia. He fell in love with Naksu again, while Naksu is…
You're both right though. If you think about it, from Jang Uk's point of view this is what happened - he had fallen in love with "Bu Yeon", he had no idea she was a soul shifter, never mind Naksu. For him Naksu was dead and gone, period.
Then suddenly, he found out the new woman he fell in love with wasn't the person he thought she was ("Bu Yeon"), but a soul shifter, and not only that, she was Naksu, the person he thought was dead and gone, the person he loved the most and struggled to get over for years.
I mean the amount of shock and confusion (and TRAUMA) this would cause to any ordinary person would be staggering. The fact he seemed so unpertrubed by all of this unimaginable insanity is bizarre to say the least, at least from a viewer's point of view.
But yes, on the other hand, he never fell in love with someone "new" it was always the same person he was in love with. The problem is he never knew that!! That would screw you up real good and give you trust issues in real life.

Most clueless character in part 2 so farOfcIts Uk. He even don't know, he romancing with a body that has 2 souls. When…
She's having the time of her life, she's been dead for 200 years remember, trapped in a stone?

Uk is exhausted. The man hasn't been in peace for years. Of course, it would take a toll on his emotions. Like…
I def agree he's been through hell and is obviously not the cheerful Ukie from season 1 (although shame he lost his sense of humor, they could have kept that and make him more sarcastic, it would fit his sour mood), but Buyeon was a random woman to him when he met her. He stumbled upon her randomly and she was throwing herself at him from the first moment, later following him to force him to marry her, like wtf? I get the excuse "oh I went along with the random marriage proposal from a woman I've never met before so that she could kill me" but jeez, makjang level 100, it's nuts when you think about it

Who remembers the ending of Dodosolsollalasol? Same male lead. Haha! The last five minutes ending of that show…
You know what, THANK YOU for reminding me of that because it made me literally laugh out loud and cheered me up!
My god that ending was beyond ridiculous, it was so insane it made you laugh like a lunatic (or like Jin Mu)

I watched every single episode of Part 1 multiple times and usually would watch each one again right after it…
Same.... The show isn't interesting or fun anymore. The humor's gone, the characters have all drastically changed, the plot is so random and barely holding onto to dear life....So sad, it had so much potential.
Guess we'll have to think of this show as ending right before Mudeok started hearing those damn bells....
We waited the ENTIRE season for the stupid memory loss plot to be resolved, and THIS is what happens? They barely even acknowledge it?? He's not even shocked??
Where the hell are all the emotions?? The anger?? The passion??
What happened to the characters we had in season 1??
First they destroyed the firey independent boss lady that was Naksu and now they made Jang Uk inconsistent - he used to be full of emotions, now he's like whatever - you random girl wanna be with me? Sure, might as well fall for you. Oh you people want me to kill someone? Sure why not. Oh random girl you're my dead long lost love? Sure why not, lets make out again, whatever.
Aaaaaaa
Also don't get me started on Jin Mu and the idiocy of no one ever killing him properly, my god, it's beyond ridiculous at this point, the man keeps coming back more than Terminator...

Haters? i don't thinkeveryones watch this drama but we shared our opinions, so maybe you loves everything about…
I mean "chemistry" is a subjective thing, but I gotta laugh at people saying that GYJ has better chemistry with LJW because they did overly-stretched out kissing scenes? You people really think chemistry comes from people sticking tongues down each other's throats for a long time?
Chemistry is in the interaction between two people, that certain something that makes them bicker and clash and pulls them together at the same time. It's not the sex or sexual things at all. Which is why many people disagree on who had better chemistry with LJW and frankly at this point I don't even think it's the actors' fault as much as the writers and the dialogue. This season has been shit compared to season 1 and what they did to the character of Naksu is a travesty. She was an interesting feisty intelligent fireball of a woman, and now she's a subdued, boring, useless damsel in distress. The priestess has all the power and Naksu is just tagging along, being sad, dejected, not doing anything, not expressing anything.... BORING.
I almost feel bad for GYJ. The character she played for a few minutes in the first episode of season 1 is long gone.

It's a great remake. Not perfect but better than most others for sure.

I'm just sad with these types of stories in general where a-holes win in the end just because they are good-looking and "change". In reality, violent bullies don't change. Not really. They just get better over time at hiding their nature and pretending. I wish we didn't fuel these fantasies of aggressive and violent "bad boys" who will somehow change entirely just for that one girl. They won't. In any normal healthy scenario Gorya would end up with Ren.

I guess the strength of this remake is that it makes the highly problematic aspects of this story that much more obvious and realistic. I know they won't but I'm almost half-hoping they change the ending.

Also, brave of them to reference all the injustice rich and powerful people get away with in Thailand, so many subtle hints at how f-ed up the society is. I'm amazed they let them get away with it.

It's my favorite drama currently, but man, after 13 episodes I'm really getting tired of the FL being so gdamn retarded and useless. At first it made sense after the shock of what happened to her dad, but now it's just getting on my nerves how she doesn't really do anything but walk around listlessly with a sad look on her face while making so obviously dumb choices over and over again. And then some dude has to come in and save her.
I mean, I get that they need to keep filling up this show with drama for 16 episodes but my god come, can't they think of other plot devices than the stupid damsel in distress.
I wish kdramas made better female characters seriously, I'm sick of all the stereotypes. And the stepmother, another sad stereotype, like why? The assemblyman's daughter too. At this point I'm only watching for the 감자탕 guy as he's hilarious and fun to watch while being an interesting character too. Wish they made the FL like that as well.

Title Lost
Even the amazing leads can't save this I'm afraid. It was a good premise, and the directing and acting is fine, but the characters are so unlikable. Especially the female lead, I can't really stand her. What a waste of talent.

She was emotionally abusive and manipulative towards her boyfriends and she didn't even deny it, nevermind all that lying and the fact she got plastic surgery to disguise her bullying days in school. I just don't understand how she can continue to have a career, there's so many prettier and better actresses, why stoop to hiring her again? Sad all around
