Even they cut scenes from his last big project(Miss Chin is Litigator). His whole arc which was filmed was never shown in drama. And drama was cut short from 32 to 20 episodes. His drama truth or dare was quite big at that time.
Korean drama industry is doomed after many idol actors/actresses venturing in k-dramas. They got brand deals, music career and now they are venturing in k-dramas in mass. That's why many good actors are now kinda unemployed because of them. Everyone would choose an idol over actor for his/her script because of business appeal. They got many chances even though they are bad at acting because of they are idols.
Successfully wasted 16 hours. Actually not, opened it on laptop and was using mobile phone. Nothing seems to be happening. Plot is moving but seems like it isn't moving. Predictable story. Real life challenges. Nothing extra.

I think it had more episodes initially but later because of policy change of only 40 episodes many fighting scenes and battle scenes were removed. They were a big of part of drama but they deleted them and kept romantic parts. I remember it was like 60 episode drama. 😂

It would have still performed well even without marking push from both sites with no big drama in competition. Two leads have strong fanbase but now everyone is saying there wasn't much hype about it before it's release in China and it's breaking records of Joy Of Life which is quite impossible to achieve without marking push. Mountain and Rivers drama has so much hype and was released on both platforms and still it's first day numbers were lower than this. Obviously that went downwards after that because of storyline. And obviously plot is really good until now so it would definitely be a hit anyways.
No hard feelings for anyone but I really feel like marketing companies are doing their best to make drama viral. Look at heat index on both sites. It looks impossible to be true cause their are no viral or remarkable scenes until now. Not trending on Douyin. Bought some weibo hot topics. It's a decent show obviously but.....
