Xu Kai fans, I keep saying this.... don't be discouraged by these ratings.... MDL never ever ever gets it right.....
Xu Kai and Bai Lu will always have antis, these 2 are different to say Zhao Lusi and Wang Hedi..... With XK & BL, you either like these 2 or you dont, there is no polarity.....
Douban is the same, non of their dramas ever get good scores.... They still get views so plenty people still watch their dramas.... This is a fine drama, some might not enjoy which is all valid.... actually entertaining drama....
Kido Ma is one of my favorite Male Leads.... Wan Peng fans seriously be happy this pairing is happening.... Things work when Kido Ma is in a drama!....
Gao Hanyu is such an awesome actor.... not easy but my opinon of him doesn't change.....
I know loved his performance with Bai Lu, cant believe he didnt get her in Love is Sweet, so much better than LYX, he is such a feminine male actor lol
He has the most screen times of the demons even more than the main leads lol so I can see why some might like…
I hope they dont do what the norm is.... kill off these characters in the drama.... johnny huang i used to like but in action dramas he does he keeps killing some of the guys & girls i like which for me isnt good..... i hope they dont do the same but knowing the trend they probably will.....

For me only, just too cold of a persona. Same with drama with Yang Mi....

Xu Kai is made for Wuxia genre, he is at his best doing Wuxia than modern in my opinion. This Female Lead is also very good. Good pairing.....

Barely any of their dramas get good reviews on douban and this drama is actually very very good.... One of the best I have seen all year....
