Unpopular opinion.... Miles Wei & Xu Lu are not at the same skill level....
Miles Wei reminds me alot of Jasper Liu. Both have to try make something out of nothing. Get given bad scripts which they need to really work hard to make it a hit which they do..... they need decent writers and creativity on set plus a good female lead....
On occassion they will get given a Xu Lu, a Shen Yue, a Cheng Xiao who's acting skills just below par.....
Then you have situations which Miles Wei will be paired with Hu Yi Xuan an experienced actress & Jasper will be paired with Zhou Yutong who is fantastic which they will make low budget dramas entertaining & watchable....
It’s not xing fei that has problems but the ML… he has scandals last year…. But not sure if the MDL users…
Plenty of actors & actresses been in scandals.... Daddi Tang was suppose to be in the drama 'The Love You Give Me' with Xing Fei but he decided to have a few sneaky nights with his agent which went public.... Xing Fei fans threatened to boycott if she proceeded to start filming with him.... that was a successful drama....
I don't think XKC is the big problem. He really doesn't have a big profile. It's Xjng Fei the reason most people watching this drama.....
I think it's haters.... something we need to get used to moving forward. Haters not just limited to Weibo and Chinese forums....
How can this be a 7.4?.... I have watched few episodes and actually quite impressed. Both leads actually very good....
I can understand Bai Lu & Yang Zi having alot of haters, I can understand other actresses like Cheng Xiao, Shen Yue having plenty detractors for things such as acting skills etc.... but Xing Fei is the sweetest thing....
I think I could ask the question to Lin Yi & Allen Ren who is the best? Pretty confident both would say Xing Fei....

The Male Leads I mentioned especially Daddi Tang Lin Yi & Xu Kai Cheng never been in any good dramas without Xing Fei. HYT was in a ALSB and Sharpshooter but since then all his dramas been flops….
Allen Ren is the one exception and no surprise did a second drama with Xing Fei…. Allen Ren is a Master of this era & he must agree Xing Fei is one of the best actresses….
Ok will say this The comedy angle in this drama is good…..
Xing Fei I think is the greatest modern drama actress of this era….
She has had like 5 hits…. I have never been a fan of Xu Kai Cheng but he is funny in this drama…. I have never been fans of guys like Lin Yi, Hu YiTian, Daddi Tang but Xing Fei just makes it work….
Ok these actors clearly not ballet dancers lol but they are trying.... Actors little know but okay atm.....
First leads just okay, nothing too impressed with..... Second leads to me actually very good, seriously its better seeing the warm guy chasing the cold girl rather than cold guy developing story with warm girl.....
Does anyone think this drama is a rip off of the movie 'Entrapment'?..... Looks like Sean Connery & Katherine Zeta Jones carrying out a mission on the Malaysian Towers lol....
I couldn't continue you are Desire either. Kido Ma not the star so said goodbye plus first few episodes didn't appeal. Snow Lord Eagle I enjoyed and finished but I know mixed reviews so fair.
This drama not bad, posted my opinion few minutes ago on chat. On E2, acting is good so far. Music really good for this drama ....
