I finished ep24 last night, still 14 to go.... They do need cut down the length of these dramas....
I get it, it's about viewership. More people than tune in for longer the more money the production team gets and more money it dishes out to the stars. No doubt Leo Wu & Zhou Yutong agency push for longer length dramas but I hope this trend does change soon.
This type of drama like to see cap of maybe 24 episodes and yay would of been done last night.... It is entertaining but same time it's long....
I must admit this drama has picked up alot, was on the slow end but still entertaining but picking up many gears. Excellent Not many weak players, majority cast have relevant roles
Does anyone here think the third lead storyline of Pian Ran & Ye Qing Yu the General Son is actually quite entertaining? this pairing for me right now the most interesting....

yeah. 100%..... all basic playbooks.... most youth dramas the same, most CEO dramas the same.... these types always some kind of demon male lead and a princess type female lead.... we see it all the times....
Let raise the bar for LYX acting expectation, give him Triple A+ expectation and for CDL better keep it at B-B+Yunxi…
LYX is fun actor, one that can provide both humour & charm. I think we will see plenty of it. Paired with Bai Lu kinda makes it good combination, one provides cold angles & other the humour angle.
CDL just we see it often not enough clutch, not enough emotion and seeing the same style over & over in say 36 episodes drama becomes stale. Like her character doesn't develop. I hope we can see more clutch CDL
Camon Chen Duling, I have never been impressed by any performance you have given in any drama. This time you have been paired with Deng Wei & have Bai Lu & Luo Yunxi as your Mains. No excuses now
So nervous. I really want this cast to deliver. Drama has potential to be a classic however needs so many to be in the top of their game.
When I look at dramas like The Blue Whisper & Love like the Galaxy I remind myself excellent story, good acting by both Leads & Supports .... I am praying tonight to see A+ performances from Luo Yunxi & Chen Duling as I know Bai Lu is always super brilliant!....
