tbh it wasn't her address that he heard and then went to check it out. He believed it was Xiao Zhiyu's address since at the cafe, her best friend asked the delivery guy to send it to that address and the cake was ordered by Hu Xiu for Xiao Zhiyu. Pei Zhen never realised that they were living in the same place until he saw her talking on the phone from the balcony. His intention originally was to check out why exactly Xiao Zhiyu was living in an old neighbourhood when he's not really that poor yk.....

I think innocent more than introverted. He was loved by all the creatures or humans surrounding him and was not exposed to how harsh and cruel some people can be in order to fulfill their own desires- well until that betrayal!

Finally finished it after taking long breaks in between. I have to say it's the first Zhang Jingyi drama in which I've done that. She is my fav actress and I also loved the detailed audit parts shown as it's quite rare in a cdrama and I'm a student pursuing to become an accountant/auditor. So, to be honest it had so many elements like these that should have made it a really amazing watch and even if I liked it mostly, the pacing was just too slow in between making it kinda boring. Still, I would give it an 8.5/10. The chemistry was good and the whole dynamics and side characters were nice too.

Just finished re-watching this after 5-6 yrs! Even if everything is not perfect, it still is kind of wholesome but somehow this drama gets a lot of criticism it doesn't deserve. Still this one is one of a kind. There's no one more fitting as Didi to play Si and F4 will always be iconic and this will be a drama which will never be forgotten!

its clearly embarrassing the way you're defending a suspected murderer just because you "appreciate her work as an actress". I've atleast read about 20 comments of yours alone after scrolling down. If you're so confident that she's innocent, why are you yapping on here multiple times like pr? Not even pr would comment so much under an mdl profile I think! I feel like you're some teenager who clearly doesn't understand the cruelties of the world but comments a thousand times under a very strongly "unofficially" accused murderer who even most of the other C-ent idols/actors and actresses have become distant from...its sad that the one who can fully reveal the exact thing that happened is dead but if you must know, rumours are not random. There's a reason she and some others' names have come out and not the others. There's a reason some really famous actors had come forward questing the situation once it was known. They did this at the height of their career knowing its risky. Still, obviously the gov is clearly on the side of the accused, hence the reason it was closed abnormally fast and comments and posts of those actors were forcefully deleted. After all its hard to go against the gov, especially an autocratic country and it really doesn't matter if you're a famous person or not. You'll end up in the same situation and I can understand why none of those influential people talk about it anymore. This is my first time commenting under a drama of hers and at first I never had the intention to do so even if I believe she's in the wrong. If you believe she's not guilty until proved, you have the right to do so. I would not have commented to your supposed defending comment if not for the continuous comments that I have seen under your name. Even trying to defend her under hate comments is understandable to some extent since you truly believe she's being slandered but the active PR like spam comments just spins the narrative to look like y'all are being paid for such comments. Again, just my opinion. I would rather not accidentally defend a criminal but you do you!

its not about the website...mangotv dramas are known to have not that great subs sometimes but its still understandable for someone who's not new to cdramas:)

how did u get all this info? Are all these mentioned upto ep 12? I remember the cop's fiancee working in the same building and I thought it was the same one that caught fire but there was no mention of her being in there or that chen yi went to save her and all the other parts you mentioned? Are you talking based on the novel?

I'm not sure about the mature writing part but I can give you recs for dramas that have scenes that break your heart and those that you will remember for a long time(atleast for me, they do!) - Lighter and Princess, Reborn, Twelve letters, The First Frost, Never Ending Summer, Go Ahead, Love in the Clouds, The Prisoner of Beauty, Blossoms in Adversity
