Title Once Again
I didn't know KBS too did products placements, I thought only JCB did that, this drama is sweet at times direction is good too and it also has your typical kdrama tropes and all in the process of trying to make it funny I couldn't take them seriously not bad but not great either.
Japanese version of American show Six Feet under it's not an adaptation or a remake however the storylines are quite similar elder brother suffering from a brain tumour, father dying in a freak accident in the first episode within few minutes and lastly a big competitor as well as the debit younger son struggling to remain in the business it just hit me on episode no. 4, the American one was fun except the last season.

One of the most disappointing and underwhelming endings I've seen. Too much time (70%) was wasted on generic cases,…
Yep agree the cases are very generic, I am on episode 2 when you compare it with the original it is boring and if you take it as a stand alone show its still average.

The fun, the impact, all the side characters were excellent in the original here not ine is woth a mention.

Why?
Can't seem to tell you exactly why although I can only say this that lately I have noticed this pattern that I am dropping Jdramas where Ayase Haruka is the main female lead.

I'm watching this right now on myasian something something. Why is the subtitled English translation so off? Why…
it isn't only problem with this show most translators are doing these kind of bad translation and ruining the watch, where does one complain it's frustrating, they will say natto is beans and what not.

Title My Lovely Liar Spoiler
I dropped at episode 10 I was wondering how will they justify having 6 remaining episodes.

So far now that everyone has found some kind of resolution except the public's suspicion that he might still have killed her so for me it would have been better if they had shown some time laspe before finding her remains.

It seemed very convenient for her remains to have been found right now total plot progressing gimmick used by writer very disappointed.

Title I Can Speak
I was watching a nagging grandma wanna learn English then it turned to historical war crime.
I thought it would be a fun a bit emotional movie turned out an history lesson instead.

Review Thirty-Nine
It felt like it the main actor's show and the production team wanted to bank on her writing medicore storytelling putting her on pedestal.

your review is spot on I had something similar thoughts while watching this show like if they had only focused on the sisterhood and yes her adopted family of Mijo's and how Seon u fighting for his sister the father rejecting was a very new take on adoption although I ended up dropping it.

huh!! how did she get to watch this drama?? was it dubbed in hindi and telecasted on Doordarshan? BTW I Live in…
IC is that so no wonder I remember this incident when I was in School this I am talking about in the 90s we didn't have PTA or anything at that time what it being a vernacular school even though I am from Mumbai I digress anyways 1 afternoon we were shown a flim on Projector in the Assembly room without any preamble or anything the film was about the victims of the nuclear bombing of Heroshima and Nagasaki showing the survivors injuries it was a horrific experience imagine a 12 year old kid watching clip after clip of disfigured, severely burned photos of mostly kids and elders.
now that I think about it, definitely someone had paid someone to gather sympathies for Japanese people and our school authorities simply put up a showing like the idiots they were.

I get you, to each their own, there a lot of cliches here, and the story was lacking indefinitely. But fans remain…
I have no issue with that, you like it ok no issue I ain't saying just cause I didn't like it you shouldn't. What irked me was I had made a simple comment before the episode 15 aired that hope they don't go the typical route of having her memories return by the last episode instead we get a special where its shown how she regains only bits and pieces, on that comment I had people going on defense mode saying things like no this and no that I was like am ain't thrashing the show here was just voicing my wish that I don't want cliches, wating for something different to happen.
Who cares May 3, 2024
Totally agree with your analysis.
Thought we would get something interesting instead we got typical KDrama cliches that the audience seems to love so much, cannot believe people defending this show left and right look at the ratings this show got on MDL 8.9🤮
Dimpled riri May 3, 2024
I totally agree with your assessment typical story with the met in the childhood trope we are fated and your run of the mill Kdrama cliches
On Queen of Tears Apr 23, 2024
for me it would have been more interesting to watch if her memory came back gradually the show should end with Haien still suffering from memory loss and like in specials they would show how over the years she just remembers bits and pieces only.
