i think they tried to do the same as l&p here but first frost being released before made people anxious and wants to watch the past + present together rather than just the past first and then present or they could do like go back lover where the past was shown at the start and then moved on to present.

point but clumsy X doctor would bring up more hate if ykwim the characters here portrays 4 different type as for energetic they made um hay

same !! when i watched the first episode it somehow brought back all my memories from 1st residency year and i watched it with some of my mates and we all got nostalgic and felt proud how we grew with time.

if you compare a life of a full fledged doctor who saved 1000 lives to a 1st year resident then its you who's boring not the drama, this drama is more focused on reality not the unrealistic side

the friendship their started with awkwardness so as here , it will flourish with time and if we take this spin off as how the professors started their career in parallel world would be a better insight :)

Most of the medical aspirants give up mid-way especially in their first yeat due to all these and its the job of the senior to make them realise their dream and if that is to be a doctor then they stay and if not then nothing can stop them. At the end one cannot be a puppet for whole life.

. Kim Sa-bi she can be a topper but without emotion and communication one cannot be a good doctor and its truth if you don't understand the feeling of a patient who has zero knowledge about their disease then its useless being a doctor because it is your responsibility to make them feel at ease so that they can trust you. Trust is the biggest part of being a doctor a patient can rarely recover if he/she doesn't trust you no matter how good you are, and this was shown in the first 2 episode. Even in hospital playlist 1 jang gyeol was scolded by jeongwon when she spoke to the patient's family showing no empathy just medical knowledge. Another flaw was how Sa-bi wanted to come first in everything and be the teacher's favourite and its true there's always one who wants to get in the way of everyone and wants to shine the most but shining alone will only make you lonely and in hospital no work can be dont alone a whole team is needed which is what do won explained

2. Um Jay well according to how he behaves thats literally how half of the 1st year resident are/were , over diagnosing every process to avoid any mishap , asking question in every step to avoid future trouble (i personally think this is the best thing in 1st year that to ask out one's doubt it also helps you know more things ) and being careful about every step so that they dont cause trouble for the professor and get bash later. Being friendly and wants to help everyone because he knows he have to stay in the hospital for a long run so its better to not fall at anyone's bad side and letting everyone know that he's always there when anyone needs help .

3. Nam Kyung well she is the most normal one she has communication skill and lays out hand to help others (even if she's forced to). She loves fashion and wants to stay in trend i think most of the aspiring med students has this part . Also how her friends are getting married but she's still a resident . Even if she gets mad at her patient for nagging her but she knows her responsibility and will return to work eventually.

4. Yi Yeong uhm i guess the most questionable one ! the drama starting off with her watching 3 nightmares back to back got many viewers mad well i don't get the point of being mad here because it showed us 2 case first is how something went wrong in her 1st resident year and second is her dad going bankrupt it showcased us the two scenario of her situation and she's FORCED to get in this field again because of her debt we are yet to know why she is repeating her year. She complained of finding this profession as hard for her its because she has never seen hardship until now (acc to rumour she was a chaebol going bankrupt) and this is a hunch that in her previous hospital which also was another branch of Yulje she wasn't guided and was criticized at worst for her mistake. Not every doctor at the start of their career wants to pursue this out of love for medicine but mostly are forced or they do because they are told to since they were good in study(her case most prolly) or for the high salary. She's always at the verge of running away with all the pressure, criticism she receives but somehow finds her way back here until one day she'll realise that this is where she belongs and is her responsibility.

I dont know what insight everyone has for a well established doctor but this drama has provided us to show the real root, the complete nurture how they will nourish themselves into full a fledged doctor and that's exactly how it has always been.

A medical student after completing its mbbs and internship entering into their residence year still has a lot to learn if it was that easy then anyone good can be a doctor. This drama even showed how most of them wants to give up midway due to the pressure and time being a doctor needs courage before brain if you aren't courageous enough then even your well nurtured brain will want you to give up just like Sa-bi felt.

oh lord the suture thread got me laughing hard like how dumb can you be to pinpoint that particular scene from the drama and make it a waste of time these people have never went to an ot or maybe they did as a patient but acting like some med field genius just by watching some med dramas ijbol

it is so visible that the hate from few commentators for this drama is forced and i guess its bothersome to argue with them because they want to stay in their own fantasy rather than touching some grass of reality , creating new accounts or bringing the old unused account to show hate and prove your point is meaningless and shows how childish these people are when its visible who they are with the similar comments and context

omg hit the point INDEED i remember her getting hate goodness why does people think everything is easy for doctor those dramas main focus is to teach people to come out of their bubble but people out here are just dumb

"the rest of us" consist of only you lol and being called mediocre as if you are an eminent person and even if you were you would not waste your time watching dramas if "time was important and you are busy"

bc they live in their own dream bubble but somehow i think the other medical dramas rose their standard for which they arent willing to accept the nurture
