I would hate it a little less if I knew exactly what I was walking into. How could they make it seem like it's a disaster drama when it's the stupidest sci-fi plot since I don't even remember what?
It kinda had that Ready Player One vibe. I really loved that movie. If anyone knows any films like that, please recommend. I guess series will do too, if they're a bit short.
The acting was so good but I was expecting more from the story. As someone already mentioned, it was framed in a way where I thought it would be like Strangers From Hell. That whole reveal and ending fell flat for me in comparison to its buildup. Maybe I need to watch it a second time. Someday.
I had been looking for a movie like Beasts Clawing at Straws for the longest time since I saw it. This became that. Every moment was so well done. What everything came down to was so crazy. The cast did a fantastic job. Everyone got their comeuppance.
It's such a unique story, and I just know it's going to have brilliant, hilarious, and sentimental moments. Can't wait to watch both episodes 3 and 4 tomorrow. How I wish they dropped the whole thing all at once.

I was referring to her being sweet as her own person, as in sweetness might be inherent within her beyond being the old man's wife and dealing with the things that come with her marriage everyday, but I do get your point. Of course, she's perpetually terrified, and guilty.
I think we could all write a book to explore every plot line in this drama and its implications because so much is going on. I will say, I'm for Seo Dongju turning Vincenzo on all these people. But I get the sense he's gonna make them pay more publicly and legally, and he's already making them pay financially, so your hope has a higher chance I think.

I do get that another season is incoming. But a season is a season for a reason. Many shows leave us on cliffhangers but the great ones know how to give closure to a season while still keeping us on the hook for the story's continuation, like the first one did.
But I agree with you, less than a year is not so bad. I also read somewhere it's June, so... I'll forgive and forget when that comes out and it kills lol.
The fact that Gihun can still trust let people in, let alone 001 like that, is so freaking dumb. Should've gotten on that plane for real. Also, his philosophy's just as flawed if he can sacrifice people for a "greater good". I'm not saying a "hero" has to be all good, nobody can be. The games are a big ass gray area, it's him trying to act like there's zero excuse to hurt others and it got annoying as hell real fast considering the circumstances. So high and mighty. And we know he'll never die so it took the stakes out of a show that shouldn't care about offing anybody in the first place!
Be so real right now. That's it?! And this is coming from someone who never complaints about shows or movies, I literally love everything. Waited 3 years just to WAIT AGAIN!!? So done.

It's a brilliant watch. Had me on the edge of my edge of my seat the whole time. I watched the whole season finale in tears. I can't wait for the second installment next year.
