It's a trend. People like to blame other people who don't deserve the blame and would make rather excuses for those who actually deserves it.

So, cos his friend did not tell him everything, he should be mad. Lol. He can be mad at his friend and still be rational since it involves his life and death and possibly his (Tongkla) too.
If he actually cared, he would ask his friend one question- "this information you're not telling me, would it keep you safe by not telling me?"

So, your friend's been telling you that your "new professor" who happens to randomly pop up everywhere you go, mind you, even on your vacation is dangerous.
You don't wanna believe him? That's fair, afterall I don't instantly believe every single bad thing person A tells me about Person B until I confirm on my own.

But then, your new professor literally used you to "try" to kidnap your best friend and your bestfriend explained about the situation. You knew he was in danger. You now know that the reason he was receiving special treatment as a child is just because he's got a host of predators lurking around somewhere in the dark.

Few seconds later, you allow the same professor to again mess with your head.

Your Mom (from the orphanage) all of a sudden was in an accident and your dear professor came to the rescue. The same predator you saw in action just a few days ago. The same one that lied to you to kidnap your friend. You dragged your friend along and accepted the "kindness" of that predator.

And then, your friend withholds a little information, tells you he'll tell you later and you're butt-hurt that he's keeping stuffs from you.
I wonder why he's not telling you.....maybe stop to think about just why he's not telling you.

Next, you again ran to this predator who has obviously used you from the start. Same person you're already aware is intent on doing something terrible to your friend.
If he actually cared about Tong, he
would listen and actually hesitate, stop and think. Feels like he's got some hidden anger against his friend for daring to be special when they were young.

I don't care what anyone says but Tongkla disappointed me. I did see it coming, though. There's naivety and there's stupidity. They ain't the same. You are not entitled to a 100% of information that a person is not ready to share.

This isn't about him. He isnt the one who predators are after and would do everything and anything to get him. He isn't the one whose life is at risk but now, he put himself at risk cos his friend didn't tell him what he wanted to know even though he begged him to wait.

There's literally a million reasons why he'll be fighting, maybe cos Mark looked like he was fighting alone against a hord of people?. Maybe cos he was attacked? The same way he attacked your dear professor's men the other day to protect your friend from him?

I can't tell you how many chinese novels I've dropped due to this rape trope. I even used to report them for these because none of those books were labelled dark romance neither were there any trigger warning beforehand. They would always fall for the domineering young rich handsome lead who constantly rapes them whilst the middle-aged pot bellied men who is trying to solicit these female leads are usually the villains.
I literally see no difference between a rapey main lead and a rapey middle-aged man apart from the fact that they're blatantly romanticising one and villainizing the other.

I got so sick of them and that's actually how I first stumbled into BLs cos I couldn't stand those MxF rapey tropes. Who knew BLs aren't any different.
Except that BL fans basically turns a blind eye to SA in BLs as long as it's MxM.

I also dropped TopForm after episode 7 cos I hated how Johnny got away with it with the excuse that he's untouchable due to his connections.
Yet, next minute, the show is trying to cast Johnny in a better light with the shipper moment. Nah, I was disgusted. I expected better from the show and for SA to stop being used only as a plot device to "push the two leads closer"
Even my love for Akin and Jin could not make me keep watching. This is 2025. My patience for certain trope has runned out.

For me, I think it's really important for BLs to portray the different dynamics and facets of the gay relationship instead of focusing on the same old tropes. It's why I really like ship pairs that breaks these stereotypes. Although, fans still try their best to box them into the same weird heteronormative dynamics.

I also would like to see portrayal where a person would fall in love and not lose themselves. I understand the need to rely on your lover but BLs overdo it with the overprotection and infantilization trope.
Thankfully, Jun at least can stand up for himself.

And like you, I dropped Fourever You Project. At first, I tried my best to go through the first eps of Ter/Hill story but I got sick and tired of it due to the following: 1) Ter won't stop talking in a hyperactive and nasal voice. 2)Ter stopped being a friend to North and became a shipper. 3) North started losing himself to fall into the trope of "being at the mercy of the rich handsome young lead. The debt and debtor trope here robbed me the wrong way and I couldn't ship them cos it felt like North was being manipulated and forced into a relationship with Johan. I wasn't convinced North had feelings for him".
The way I rolled my eyes. I've seen that trope multiple times, and unless it's portrayed in an interesting way (to me), I wasn't gonna waste my time watching it.

I can understand Jun's brother because he sort of raised him, although I do hope there's a limit to him treating Jun like a baby, afterall, everyone has got to live their own lives and gain valuable life experiences.
