I absolutely agree! This time, LGX and ZLY really grew with their acting. I haven't seen a couple like this in a while with this much chemistry. Just XZ and SL in a room lights the room on fire.

There are hints of XY in XZ. He's trying to show his true colors now as both XY and XZ. lol

IN episode 7, how they showed Xing Yun getting old, growing white hair just waiting to die was so heart wrenching! I am glad they added this, gives the story so much heart.

LOL I'm the total opposite. I'm not as convinced with ZLY's character yet, but I like LGX's mysterious character. Them together though is *chef's kiss

Wow! Interesting, I didn't see that coming. Its kind of funny. lol

Its difficult for me to get into this genre so I went into this with low expectations but so far its very good. I haven't skipped any scenes, which is rare. lol I give a lot of credit to ZLY and LGX, they make such a great team! Every scene with these two, you can't help but only see their characters standing with each other. To quote Bridgerton Season 1. "I burn for you!" type of vibe the characters have for each other.

LMAO I think episode 3's lake scene was well done. If you are a PA fan, this scene kind of answers all our frustration towards that show 7 years ago, even eliminating any hope of a PA 2. It was like YWY fell into the icy lake again and finally being saved by CQ. They came out of the water as the new XY and SL this time on the other side. :)

I agree, I see where you are coming from. Why must the one who hurt ask for forgiveness? Like I said, I think there is a deeper meaning to this in the Buddhist world and I'll never understand either. Could be caused from karma in the past lives of the two main characters? Maybe the couple didn't give enough merit in their past lives? Who knows, this is something never explained so we have to go off of what is given us and it can be hard to accept.

I get it, I felt the idea of forgiving such an evil person does not align to what people think now a days as well. These evil people should be punished but I think its more complicated then that. I remember watching a crime show and a victim's mother forgives the person who murdered her daughter, its truly powerful to realize the only way to move on is to forgive and not let what happened eat you alive and this is true for some people. This idea always reminds me of this lakorn. This story is popular with Thailand so I think if you are a Thai person or grew up in the religion its easier to accept the outcome of this type of story.

That's the moral of the story though...evil lady has sinned all her life, she'll never be released from the cycle of pain and despair. No matter how much pain she brings to others, she is left feeling unsatisfied and never discovering peace. The main leads must learn to forgive in order to move on from the cycle of anger and revenge even though they've been through losing each other in two lifetimes. The whole idea is based on Buddhism.
