YZ's fans are mad because his ex gf will be a problem? LOL was his ex gf causing problems to the GGS production back then? That's confusing to even be angry about. LX's never been open about his gfs to anyone in the media or fans...its rare to catch him out on dates with girls too. Until a formal police investigation is initiated, I can't trust anything Weibo fans say about tax evasion lol. Also, its only a matter of time, LX and YZ team up again, people still like them together and they are really good friends in real life so I'm not super surprised if this drama is a go. True, LX's period dramas aren't the best, mainly due to styling. I wish they aired A Love Never Lost because I loved his look in that drama. If this was a republic era drama, I'd be even happier.

His last drama Meet Yourself was a female centric drama as well with Crystal Liu. I don't think he finds that female centric dramas are a problem.

Don't blame it on the pairing (any pairing really). They can't control what crazy fans do. In the end, producers coughing up money to make the projects have last say anyway. How anyone takes these sick fans seriously is beyond me. The ML hasn't even been confirmed yet so I don't know what the big deal is.

Its a gamble no matter if you have a rising actor or an established actor. Who knows if the actors in LYF will hit gold again after LYF. No one knows. Its best to trust the writers, not the actors or even YZ because not ALL her projects have been super popular. Story, production values, character development, etc...all this must be attracting to the viewers.

Sadly, no celebrity in China have normal fans, they all fight for things they shouldn't have the power to.

As a International fan, I hope it goes through and LX sets the record straight for his fans who are interfering. He's always been a straightforward actor with his dislikes in the industry.

I hope LX and YZ get to reunite in this! They are so supportive of each other so I don't think their fans fighting for first billing will affect the project, if its a go. LX's Yang Zi Laoshi is someone he looks up to as a good colleague. Perhaps its a good enough story for these two to finally reunite and LX choosing a period project after only being in modern projects. He didn't look too bad in Soul Snatcher. Its all based on character design and styling.

Underrated drama. I thought some of the scenes were brilliant. The romance is very heart wrenching but worth it in the end. The soundtrack was great!

Totally not true, there are more complaints about older FL vs older ML. The idea of having older ML with younger FL is still favored.

I love to see bad guys lose and this drama serves it right!

One of the best Korean actor who's the most underrated. I think i've seen most of his dramas compared to any other Korean actor there is. He is just good at selecting the right scripts.

ZLY and LGX seemed to enjoy filming this! So I have high hopes for this.

Jeez, my bad. Still, research is important when determining the landscape of the industry currently and into the future. Its what investors have a knack for, determining if something will make you money, in this case, they ain't doing a good job for themselves, they should already know how strict the government is.

Maybe do some research and don't invest in this type of genre since the government put a ban on it already???
