I honestly don’t know why I joined that stupid WhatsApp group for cdrama/kdrama fans. I usually don’t do fandoms for this exact reason. It was an absolute disaster. Like, genuinely felt like a club for TFF haters?? I didn’t even know it was possible to hate The First Frost, but wow, there were so many of them.

They kept dragging Wen Yifan for "constantly suffering" ?? and called Sang Yan a stalker. A STALKER. I can’t. Then they went around calling the drama overhyped. Like… what kind of low EQ people are these?! Honestly explains why the most mid, average dramas end up being the ones that get super popular.

And the hypocrisy? Insane. I casually mentioned I didn’t like another drama because the FL’s acting felt cringe and her mannerisms annoyed me, and they immediately jumped on me like “no slander of our miss girl.” 🙃 It’s like… you can rip apart TFF’s characters with twisted narratives, but I can’t give an opinion on acting? This kind of behavior is exactly why actual good dramas don’t get the hype they deserve.

I’m totally fine with people not liking my favorites, we all have different tastes. But blatantly twisting the narrative and throwing disgusting accusations at characters who are literally none of that?? That’s just shameless.

Anyway. That group completely drained my energy. Never again. 😮‍💨

Thank You for saying that. The other drama was not at all watchable for me due to all the reasons you've mentioned.

I dropped LOTFG in the initial episodes. The FL didn't act like a general at all, made me cringe and it felt more like "romance of the female general".

While I loved all the episodes of Shadow Love I've watched till now. Though the child transformation part was kind of weird but I choose to ignore it since rest of the drama is good enough.

tf I watched this before I knew ZRN only because of LYX and dropped despite enjoying it because of the sad ending spoiler.
But them together in a drama ? and me not watching it ? crazy

the side couples are ok but it won't even make much difference to me if they were removed honestly. I got into this drama due to ChanRan lore and even at this point they're the ones keeping me hooked.
