Title True to Love
YuRi giving Soo Hyuk her wedding invitation to ”shake” him up was just off putting to me.
They’ve been broken up for a while now she’s moved on and got with someone who showed her exactly what she was looking for. Why would she feel the need to come get closure from an ex she left because he never gave her what she wanted.

I realized I’m a lot of kdramas inviting an ex to your wedding seems to be a thing. Now I don’t know if that’s a thing in Korea as well. But personally no way in earth is my ex coming to my wedding. Even if we remained friends after breaking up he’ll never get an invite from me! Hear about me tying the knot through the grape vine of friends but don’t make your presence know

Why did they have to make Yuri like that??? Why can MLs not be imperfect. Bora is soooo cool because she is imperfect.…
I think it was a move made which is a bit realistic. YuRi liked him way more. Soo Hyuk isn’t much of an expressive guy that YuRi wanted. And according to her she was torn between staying with a guy she loves or going to a guy that loves her and expresses it and makes her comfortable. She chose the latter. Only for her to realize that now that she’s getting married maybe she was wrong. Remember her conversation with Bo Ra and later when she met Soo Hyuk she mentioned that the new guy makes her comfortable. But when she talked about Soo Hyuk she used different descriptions. Another thing that’s realistic is that sometimes in relationships we think we’re over a person until we realized we’re never over them completely. Like her meeting SH for “closure” asking him if he ever loved her. Which to me you don’t do especially if you’re getting married. Like why ask questions that don’t need to be answered and then in the last scene her calling him while crying saying she wants to meet up.

It was never a joke the person commenting took everything Bo Ra said out of context. She was making a comparison to survival after a breakup. She said she wanted to look better than she was and when the guy asked her what sensed it made. She mentioned that people who were locked in concentration camps, since they never gave them much water. Some decided instead of drinking all the water I have. I’ll drink some then use some to wash my face and keep persevering . As a way to keep surviving. Then she showed went on to say that even in terrible situations we all need to find something as a motivation. If I’m her case she’s broken up with her ex she’s gonna work hard on getting prettier and make him regret. Granted another analogy could’ve been used in my opinion. But they never made fun or spoke lightly of what happened in the past.

After ep6….I realized I judged Young Soon way too early. Granted how she raised Kang Ho is messed up. But I…
I bet she had big dreams also but after her family’s death, she was forced to grow up. Which means dreams get flushed down reality sets in and survival mode gets turned on. Life has a way of making you become a shell of yourself. Especially when you go through traumatic moments. So all her fears and traumas she’d buried, after having KH resurfaced and were then projected on him. Also the scene of her being diagnosed with cancer broke my heart. She’d basically worked so hard all her life not taking breaks. Pretending to be okay when she isn’t and now this!😮‍💨

After ep6….I realized I judged Young Soon way too early. Granted how she raised Kang Ho is messed up. But I can look through the lens in which she saw life and see why she did what she did. I also now understand why she puts on a façade, making people believe that everything’s fine and dandy when it’s not. One thing I learnt during my therapy sessions, is suppressed memories/traumas have a very surprising way of showcasing themselves. In episode 6 after she passed out we get to see a memory of her (I’m guessing in high school) losing her entire family right before her eyes. Then fast forward to the future as a woman she loses her husband. It’s easy to see why she pushed so hard for KH to become successful (as unorthodox her techniques were) I get why she was so adamant on him excelling even if it meant robbing him of a normal childhood.

The skincare face mask lady is becoming the comic relief of this drama despite being rude all the time and not…
She isn’t rude to me. She just speaks her exactly what’s on her mind without filtering/sugarcoating it for no one. It may come off as rude or harsh but I find it more comical since she’s also wearing a face mask. And yea that’s way too much hydration 😅. But she did switch it up in ep5 with that robotic laser mask

Her being sick isn't some kind of pity party for viewers to change their minds about her...you can keep hating…
it’s more so how she treated him growing up. but she’s been redeeming herself after his accident. plus knowing what happened to her in her last with ep6 coming out I understand why she became the way she was even more. life has a way of making you into a shell of who you were. she lost her father, mother and brother right before her eyes. then as a woman lost her husband. not saying what she did and how she raised her son is justified. but I can see through the lenses at which she looks on life with. personally I’ve had some shitty things happen in my life and ever since my outlook on people and things have become a bit jaded so I understand her dilemma. and her getting sick in my option is more so of her neglecting her well being

SaRa is way better than SeJin yes SaRa was a piece of work. But I’ll take her and her stress any day. At least 1 good thing about Sa Ra was she knew how to step back and stay gone when she got kicked out. She didn’t go and try no funny business

you know it’s bad when you prefer Sa Ra from Young Lady and Gentleman over Se Jin. At least SaRa had some decorum and left when she got kicked out. Also as much I hated SaRa at least she only used the chairman’s amnesia by saying they were a couple and that’s cause his step mom pushed her into it. At least she resisted at first and still had some sense of shame in fear of getting caught. And when her lie was exposed and she got kicked out she stayed out. Not Se Jin! Oh no! Ms high and mighty must feel like that old hag backing her up is her iron man suit or something cause she’s just brazen and shameless. Even if she’s caught in her lie, she’ll twist and bend it into a way to make you feel like it’s your fault for making her lie🙄

“I’m sorry for interrupting your dinner but….” don’t even wanna hear the rest of it. If SJ is so sorry for interrupting her disgusting manipulative backside would’ve already been on a one way flight out of Korea and straight to the US OF FREAKING A!!!😤😤 This witch really can’t take a hint. What’s that’s song again🤔🤔….oh yeah MOVE, BI**H GET OUT THE WAY, GET OUT THE WAY BI**H, GET OUT THE WAY!! Does she want this song on repeat for her to finally know when her replusive presence isn’t needed? Cause I’ll gladly volunteer to blast that at max volume in front of her house

She is vindictive because she is illegitimate. Even if you turn the world upside down, and no matter how much…
So true. Especially that vindictive part. My thing is she should direct her anger and vindictiveness towards her dad. Yeah the mom was the first love but at the end her dad married Joong Suk not her mom. Plus it’s not Yi Rang’s fault that she’s the legitimate daughter. So to be angry and them and try to put blame on them. Put it on the adult that brought them into said situation. That’s just my belief
