i finally found my favourite drama for 2024! Huo Qi you Mr. Late! T.T late for Mo Er last moment and late for Zi Ye last moment too T.T the author really cold hearted. can't make them at least have a good last moment, they didn't part smiling with each other. Zi Ye never know that Huo Qi didn't blame her. while Huo Qi never know that she finally wear his hairpin. that very last scene made me cried hard again, thinking that Huo Qi kinda went a bit insane, drinking alone, laughing and playing the drinking game alone T.T it's been so long since i cried so hard for a cdrama. last one is Journey to Die-- i mean Love. 10/10 for me. recommended for people who likes slow burn romance and a heartbreaking story.

yes, his brother going to execute him on the ground of treason. lots of Xiao Ruo Feng's subordinate tried to convince XRF to really usurped his brother, Li Han Yi's mother (Phoenix guardian? i forgot which one), she came to the execution ground to save him. but XRF decide to suicide right there, in front of his brother too. yeah i thought Dashing Youth would portray that his brother actually is a good emperor (maybe although he is a jerk but he is good in governing people or maybe he become a jerk later or something) to explain why he is so loyal to him and refuse the throne. but nope, nothing. he just feel indebted toward him because of their childhood
i blame Yi Wen Jun too. she doesn't even try to take her first son with her when escaping. and suddenly went back for him when she heard him sick and on a death bed? really? she doesn't think that could happen when she first left him? i would understand if she tried to take him away with her but couldn't or failed, but no, she left him. i kinda suspect that maybe Ye Ding Zhi heard her when she said to Dongjun that if only she could persuade YDZ to not come for her from the start. it sounds like she regretting marrying YDZ. maybe that's the main reason YDZ chose to end his life. i don't know. and Xiao Ruo Feng, i didn't see why they all respect him and think that he is a wise prince. he clearly know his brother forced the girl to marry him, yet he does nothing. i would understand if he tried to persuade his brother and maybe the brother guilty trip him or something, but nope, nothing, all smiley congratulating his brother. so dissapointed in him because they made him sounds like such a wise prince in TBOF.
everyone hating Rose's mother in law. but i hate Su Su's mother more. which mom can still live and defend a man who rape her daughter? she even blame Su Su for it, like WTF. she know exactly what her husband is like, a pedophile and rapist, yet keep defending him, he even hit her. geez seriously, why there's women like that? it's like they can't live without men. people like her are disgusting.

it's been so long since i cried this much for most of the episodes. the last series that made this impact to me is One Litre of Tears. although the ending kinda a bit meh to me, maybe because i already prepare myself for the worst. but we all know what will happen to him in the end. anyway this series is soooo good, a 10/10 for me
this drama shows that power do corrupt people. i never thought that a goofy man like that can be dirty enough to sacrifice his army. all in all i love the ending. it's a hard earned vacation for her. and no, i don't believe she went to find Chang . A Mai wouldn't do that. she doesn't really need a man anyway, i don't even know why she fall in love with Yi Zhi. maybe because he made her laugh during hard time? i don't get why people rage because no one got the girl. i mean why a ML/FL have to end up with someone to be considered a good drama? instead of romance, i'm more interested in A Mai and Chen Qi relationship. it's so sad the two siblings have to end up like that. i wonder if what that evil minister said to Chen Qi is true, that it's A Mai's father that killed his father.
Episode 37: i suddenly felt that Yuan Qi kinda greedy and have a hero complex and kinda suicidal as well. I mean he wants to protect the realm from devil god, and protect the girl, shoulder punishment alone, while he knows he already injured. And i have conflicted feeling about that Daze Mountain’s Master reincarnation. I do really happy that he reincarnated, but i don’t really like it if they keep treating him as the Master. I mean he’s not the Master anymore, so it’s like they didn’t acknowledge his new person
i just binge watch this and honestly this is one of the most useless ML i ever watch. wasting 1000 years mourning and looking for Ayin's soul without trying to find justice for her. knows the peacock princess overstep and abuse her power by punishing Ayin so harsh that her immortal soul's broken and leads to her death, yet still polite to her, because according to him that's Ayin's business with the peacock princess? seriously? for someone who claims that he doesn't care and doesn't want to be involved with heavenly business, yet he suddenly think that he can't show favouritism toward Ayin and need to punish her. and the punishment is to destroy her homeland, with her baby egg sister in it. what does he think Ayin's felt? "oh yay, you just destroy my homeland, no biggie, i can find another land. and yay you just killed my sister. no biggie, she's just an egg anyway. i'm gonna live happily in confinement and solitary." one of the most ML that i hate. really hope Ayin never forgive him, but i know most people love happy ending and they will make them got back together again, yikes (run Ayin, seriously, you deserve better)
that last one minute ending honestly isn't necessary and kinda ruin it for me. i accepted that they all gone, no need to insert some kind of cryptic scene. but here's what i take: maybe that kid is a baby orphan which got into Six Realm Hall and they honored those war heroes by giving the kids Ning and Ren surname. or maybe Chu Yue is dying and those are just her imagination. anyway, this is a masterpiece for me, even though the ending kinda tragic. honestly i'm kinda bored with they-live-happily-ever-after ending, where everyone can die except the leads. it's becoming predictable. i never imagine that they are bold enough to make most of them died. it's been a long time since i watch something where most of the protagonist died, usually it's just one of the leads that is dead, and if it's xianxia then he/she will miraculously resurrected without any logical reason. and btw any other assassins characters should learn from Ren Ruyi. this is what i have in mind when i heard the word assassins. no bullshiting first when she/he wants to kill and just slash. anyway, it's 10/10 for me if not more. very recommended.
