I finished this and for me, the story is a bit lack. Infinite heat, they know it’s precious and should be protected, yet they don’t build some kind of secret room with lots of traps to secure it. They just like let’s put it inside an ordinary box and dump it inside an icy lake. They assume whoever take it from the lake won’t have the energy to run anymore. Well duh what if there’s 2 people? One swim and take it, then another one can take it and run. That last battle, they know when the attack begin, yet we don’t really see any big traps waiting for Wufeng. Just Zishang’s new invention. Yuanzhi, a poison master, but we don’t see him used it at the last battle. I thought maybe he’d prepare some kind of poison gas or something for Wufeng but nope. Gong’s sect, such mysterious sect, i thought there must be quite a lot of strong fighters. Nope, only Young Master Xue, Elder Yue, Shangjue and Jinfan. And each of them have to fight together to beat a single Wufeng. They lucky only 4 top Wufeng attack them, if it’s more or if there’s a second wave of attack, then RIP Gong’s sect.
Rip this drama 😭 i am so looking forward to this because finally Liu Yu Ning become the main lead in historical drama 🥲 their government so strict. One action shouldn’t implicate everyone’s effort

I will assume that with a luxurious loft like that, the door would be too thick to be kick down by CG alone. If he insist on opening the door with the reason to check her condition, he’d call security to open the door for him. And when they come, she can come out and say that she wants to go home, that her parents waiting for her etc in front of them. Or barricade yourself inside until morning. I don't read novel and I'm glad that this drama didn't make exactly like the novel. Actually, I don't like drama…
Yes, most novel reader have their own expectation. I admit that’s the weakness of reading before watching the drama adaptation. But as a reader, i chose to watch a drama adaptation because i already know the story are good and can’t wait to see their live action. Ah yeah some readers can’t control their hands 🙈 But i still will watch this to the end, cause it’s not that bad, just not like what i expected.
I just binged watch this and honestly, i’m disappointed that the drama didn’t really follow the novel. The novel much more hillarious. Although the drama itself is good but the changes they made make it cliche, like adding a shady and most possibly evil heavenly emperor (in the novel he is a funny and bored emperor), a god war (novel Chu Kong just a higher god, a celestial star), and a cloud fairy that is timid and afraid to offend higher god (novel Xiang Yun is bold and don’t give a shit about offending people).
Why people so harsh toward the actress? She may not be the best but sure isn’t the worst either. I actually plan to postpone watching this, cause i don’t like watching ongoing dramas, but now i’m gonna watch it to show support.

If it is very near then yes they will look down. If it’s still far then we doesn’t have to look down to see something on the ground. But the main reason i believe he’s dead because he got the deadliest poison, no antidote and no time to find another cure.
Finish it. I think they found LXY corpse at the beach. It’s more logical rather than he magically healed. Finally another masterpiece wuxia after Blood of Youth. I hope there’s more series like this, minimalistic romance and more brotherhood (not bromance, no long stare and unnecessary skinship). Btw when A Fei knew LXY doesn’t consume the styx flower, he must have think: i should have just shove it down his throat right then 😂 And Xiao Shun Yao have the one of the longest eyelashes beside Wallace Huo. I really love his character and style here. Already paid him attention since Blue Whisper, but really love him here. Hope he got more drama coming up 😍
