Whaaat! I was sympathetic towards Hyun Woo and how miserable he seemed in ep 1 but today I am all team Hae In.…
Is it bad that I'm looking forward to how they will overcome the divorce papers? A part of me wants to see it and a part of me doesn't because I know tears are gonna flow.
I think the person that killed Yura is the makeup artist that works with the actress that showed up at the end.…
please let it not be his brother. I would be too sad. He seems to truly care for YS. But I guess would it be too obvious for it to be the stepmother. After all, she always out against YS and always says that his mom ruined her or smth.
Can Eunjoo get a life?? Perhaps try to learn things and be better instead of trying to bring Samdal down? I'm…
Yea I really hope she does. I want to understand her psychology that makes her do such things because it baffles me. Maybe she felt envious of Samdal and blames her for not succeeding in a difficult industry. Maybe it has something to do with that scarf they had a flashback on. Do you have an idea of what the scarf could have mean? A part of me wished that Samdal would have stood her ground since the beginning but when I think about her thought process, I can't help to admire her. Maybe its because I watched and read too many stories of revenge but I really enjoyed how she took the time to reflect on her actions to see if she may have been abusing her power from the eyes of Eunjoo to the point where she had to make such a difficult decision. Even though it may feel that Samdal is a pushover in this aspect, I can't help but feel admiration that she first thought of Eunjoo. After all the thought you made someone miserable enough for them to attempt to take their own lives is agonizing in my opinion. When Samdal found closure hearing from Eunjoo herself that she didn't attempt to take her life because of Samdal, it was such a huge relief for her that she didn't actually abuse her power in Eunjoo's eyes and make her miserable to the point of such drastic decisions. It seems that Eunjoo is really spiraling down the rabbit hole of doing even more horrible things out of what? Insecurity? I really hope that in the last two episodes we can finally see how Eunjoo would be dealt with. Would Samdal fight back? Try to help Eunjoo with her insecurities? What are your thoughts of what could happen next between them? Whatever may happen, I am excited to see how they close the story of this beloved series.
It's so strange to me how many people are bothered by the idea of being hung up on a lost love, like that isn't…
Yea. I even remember posts a couple weeks ago or so where people were dissing each character when the full backstory hasn't been revealed yet as well. For example, accusing Samdal of breaking up with Yonpil for the sake of her career.
It is definitely worth watching! Though some people dislike it for whatever reason, you should still try it. Just remember it is a slice of life in a countryside setting. It is not a show meant to focus on revenge but healing.
It was nice seeing that creep finally get rejected by his first crush finally that teaches him a lesson to not…
I thought he was gonna confess right there. It scared me for a sec. I was like noooo don't do it, its not gonna end well. No matter how annoying Sangdo is to me, I am glad that there can be some closure for him and that he can finally jut move on.
Ugh, they lost me there with dragging that selfish dad bs, which basically is the catalyst of this whole plot.…
I second Marry my husband. It is def a good pick for sweet sweet revenge. Welcome to Samdalri is def not about revenge. It is slice of life. But I really like the story
I am so happy seeing the story progress and leading to all sorts of healing. I love the moment when Samdal found the depth of Yong-pil's love. "Love but do it in silence". It is such a perfect way to describe their love. At the same time, there is a part of me that's feels sad knowing that they had to lose 8 years of their time together due to unfortunate circumstances. Though it may be true that Yong-pil's father plays a role in their separation, if Mija didn't get sick you know Yong-pil would have run to be right by Samdal.
This past couple of episodes gave me mixed emotions, especially with Yong-pil's father. At first glance, his actions infuriates me. It angers me that he hurts his own son because of his grief. However, as I thought about his character, it does give a realistic feel to losing a loved one. Everyone deals with grief and sorrow differently and you start to think about the "What if's". It's true, its not Mija's fault at the end of the day. Its unfortunate. But in Yongpil's father's eyes if Mija had decided to stop then nothing would have happend and his wife would still be alive. He was trapped in grief and hasn't been able to heal from it. Though I empathize with the dude and know it does not excuse him for being blind to the hurt of others, it is what makes his character so human. Each person is different and how they heal from a death of a loved one is different as well. Who know how long it'll take to heal from a death of a significant other. Love is beautiful but as humans we love imperfectly and deal with pain imperfectly.
