In all honesty, you need to be more descriptive. Though your words 'Shrill, unsustainable storyline, an incomplete compilation of series' sounds descriptive, it doesn't explain the details that lead to this conclusion. What about the storyline that you didn't like after only 3 episodes?? I understand there are moments when shows don't click with you but not to give a descriptive reaon why in the review...
Sang Do....poor bastard is still in delusion that he has a chance asking Yong Pil to not go for Samdal. What does…
He should have realized it after he saw them kiss. He really is such a filler character. Anyone know his purpose/role? I feel like he is irrelevant. I'm fine with unrequited love to some degree but Sang Do is just too much for me. I wish they added another female character/love interest so that he could move on.
Had the same thoughts regarding Claudia and PSJ. I didn't feel the romance betwwen PSJ and HSH . The love between…
In regards to giving up everything his life built on the line for YCO's sake at first watch did seem weird. I thought more about it and felt that YCO was the catalyst for his decision but is also an act to stand up against the japs after witnessing the atrocities they have committed. This is especially the case when his past relations was revealed and his warm kind heart towards his people under the surface of a self-centered exterior, Thoughts?

It is true that it did feel fast-paced and kinda jarring. But I think from the conversation between NWD and that comrade after escaping the hospital and the conversation between JTS and that comrade when they escaped the cell, that JTS's was always like that. NWD said that he had his hands in everything in gyeongseong and everyone would come to him for everything and that he will help his people out. He probable just gives that cold self-centered guy exterior because in the beginning it seems that his motivations was to just protect his business. But if you think about the business underneath its surface, it is one that helps its people in another way other than joining the revolt. Also seeing the relationship between NWD and JTS and what was revealed about their past you can see that JTS has always been a caring person. He knew from just that one conversation with NWD that she ratted out his mother's name but even so ended up taking care of her for decades. This makes me wonder how a self-centered guy do this?
Wait so chae ok is not dead??? Mama's saving chae ok?? So chae ok is gonna have the powers of that creature thing? In the last scene, did Tae Sang become Ho-jae?? Does this mean season 2 is going to about Tae Sang now Hojae and creature chae ok? What are ppl's thoughts? My brain can't process rn. When I saw that worm thing enter her mouth I thought season 2 is just gonna continue where we left off but i guess not.
Also did anyone else feel that that it was rushed in the end with dynamite supposedly destroying the Japs in the funeral?

In these returning to the past and changing your future kind of trope, not all ml/fl needs to be calm and collected when the suddenly return to the past after death and given the second chance. Tbh i think it would be more weird if they weren't disoriented and were able to immediately identify and accept that they returned to the past. After all, they were on death doors and somehow came back alive. It is true that the point is to let her know the type of people those traitors are however I don't think the entire point is her pretend to be the same old jiwon in front of those two. I don't recall her trying to purposely act the same way as before in front of those two for the reason of deceiving them. The moments where she acts friendly and pretends is for the purpose of changing her fate, not trying to act like the old jiwon.
In the aspect of how she can go back to work after that commotion, I can see why it'd be embarrassing to go to work after having that mental breakdown/disorientation. I'd be embarrassed as well and wanna hide myself under a rock and avoid people out of awkwardness. But despite the embarrassment you gotta pay the bills somehow. Evenso, I wouldn't wanna cause a commotion like that if I'm being real. Too shameful for me. But in order to keep calm rather than causing such a commotion is more unrealistic. After all one second she was dying, the next second she see the guy who killed her acting sweetly to her. Who wouldn't scream for dear life.
ngl i'm kinda disappointed with the changed they've made in the drama having read the webtoon. first of all the…
i do agree the commotion that happens when she wakes up is ludicrous and pretty fun to watch and though it may not me plausible, i can see why it happened like that. I am just imagining in the perspective of Ji Won. She was married to a deadbeat for like 10 yrs and was mentally and emotionally abused. To make matters worse she becomes teminally ill and the only person she felt that was on her side at the time, her "other half" betrayed her and ended up dying in their hands. To suddenly return to the past after experiencing that nightmare of a life and seeing the deadbeat husband who hurt you emotionally and mentally and caused your death, it would be disorienting. So it makes sense imo that the commotion happend.
Many talk about how repetitive this drama is and how "pathetic" it is. Though I do find Sand-do's unrequited love too much and the jarringess of his character (zoomed car past friends -> buddy buddy when samdal is back), I think it is pretty realistic. Though I can see why people are frustrated by the sense of repetitiveness this drama gives or find the gossiping people annoying, it is what makes this drama more realistic. In small areas/neighborhoods where everyone knows everyone, it is a portrayal of what the culture tends to be.
So no hint of romance between lead till ep10? Can you spoil me?
hana met her high school crush. There wasn't really a hint of jealousy from somun. The relationship between hana and somun in this season is more sibling-like which feels a bit jarring imo given how in the first season it seemed that hana will eventually become a love interest given how somun first sees hana and the fake relationship setup with somun's family interactions with hana
