ALP is the original story about the ancient gods, the last immortal is the story about their son, and moonlight mystique is suppose to be the spinoff of the love story between Tianqi/Jing Yuan and Yuemi from ALP. So it isn't plagarism. It is all supposedly based in the same world though I dunno how shangu and bai jue fit into the lore/spinoff. Maybe the novels have a better lore and background that fills the loopholes and ties everything together. If someone can please add-on and clarify to what I just mentioned.

Just finished episode 11 and I am happy it seems they resolved their past conflict and got back together again. Hopefully nothing crazy gonna happen in the next few episodes that'll tear them apart.

I agree. At first I thought it was going to be full on romance as well but this show has surpassed my expectations with showing the complexity and varying forms of love and relationships. I also really enjoy seeing the complexity of relationships being explored in the sense that it doesn't matter at what stage in life you are at, there are still ways everyone needs to grow in order to love one another whether it be as a partner or friend or family member.

sometimes it do be like that. some people are closer to others than family members. Also what I mentioned was just one possible reason. There could actually be more to it that has yet to be revealed. I really can't wait to watch the next couple episodes. I hope that next week the ex fiance arc would end and be concluded but for some reason, I have a feeling it wouldn't. Crossing fingers

i agree that it is strange not to tell family members. as for it being difficult to believe that her family wouldn't find out about it at some point, I actually think it could be possible. After all, she was in another country and I doubt her family and friends visited her in person that frequently so i think it may be pretty easy to hide possibly. As for why she may have hidden it, that is something that may have to be just revealed later to get a better picture. All I can think of is something psychological/mental?
