I could see this angle as well, the control part. As for the ruthlessness, she seems to enjoy causing the suffering of others at times so personally I don't think she's just solely focused on her own.

I'm also curious to learn more about the relationship she has with her brother.

Honestly idk, because in the upcoming episodes we get to see where they live. Either way, it's just funny to me that everything is in that cave.

As a woman, my heart obviously feels for Wanning and the suffering she has been through. That being said, do I think the trap in ep 35 was heartless? No. Wanning has suffered a lot and instead of taking revenge on the people who hurt her, she has used her suffering to make countless innocent people suffer as well. She did this because she feels that if she, a princess, can't have happiness and has to endure misfortune, why should anyone else be happy? Especially the people of Yan who's happiness comes from her misfortunes. And that's not correct because those people are not the ones who mistreated her. These are just some of my thoughts on the situation.

Oh and as for SYR, while I hate him to the core and think he always had some seed of evil in him, she's the one who helped that seed grow. So she really can't be surprised at the way he's treating her. It's foolish of her to think that a man capable of killing his wife would not in turn be heartless towards her.

So, do they live in a cave? Lmao. Why is every meeting in that cave? 😂😂😂

Watching SYR being jealous has been so lovely to see. I love that for him.

The token isn't fake. It's real. But the emperor knows about it. The plan is to force a rebellion sooner and have Great Zhao assists them. So XH will be leaving for Great Zhao soon.

It's fake. In the trailer, XH and XFF were discussing how to get the fake pregnancy meds to her. Plus it's in the novel.

They have changed a lot of from the book but her thinking she's pregnant when she's not was in the book. It's part of how they take her down.
