Am I missing something, how is the show super conservative? The FL has conservative views but the show's moral center seems to be the ML and his views are the opposite to hers. They way the cases played out didn't make it feel in any way (to me) that the show was trying to prove FL is 100% correct in her opinions
I am super surprised that this is so well received since the political messages this show attempts to convey is…
Is the overall political message conservative though? The FL holds conservative views but the ML has the opposite opinions and he seems to be the one serving as the moral center of the show. To me it felt like the show was pointing out that the conservative viewpoint can't be forcibly applied to every single case, and that the FL is wrong for doing so. I could be missing something though. I haven't finished all the eps yet
i need to know if this show is supporting right wing politics. cause if it is, i won’t watch it.
The female lead holds what could be considered conservative views regarding juvenile offenders, but the show doesn't treat her opinion as if its 100% the right one. The male lead has the opposite views and he basically serves as the moral center of the drama
Its not that, its the lack of cheesy romance which seems to be the only thing 90% of people watch kdramas for. Which is a shame cause they're missing out on a lot
Wow, the supporting cast for this drama are ACTING. Some incredible performances by a lot of lesser known (or even totally unknown) names. Yoon Seo Ah is the only one outside the main cast I knew before starting the drama (and I love her). But I've been impressed by everyone so far
It’s the dumb ship wars that caused this. The negative comments are mainly from the fans of the actress that…
Most of the negative comments are not about ships at all. And from fans of Gong Seungyeon? What?? Most GSY fans couldn't care less about the ships. They just wanted her to actually have proper screen time and writing for her character. There were TONS of people who had an issue with the main ship of Bulgasal. The majority of the time it had nothing to do with them liking GSY. Casual viewers who didn't even know her felt this way too. You passing the blame like this is sad and ironic. SEVERAL people that were shipping Hwal and Sangwoon were attacking Siho as a character for no reason, and even claiming Seungyeon is a bad actress (which besides being rude is also just a laughable thing to say)
Its really nice and i enjoyed watching it but there is this thing that annoyed me so much😡 hwal took years…
This is a very good point and it definitely bothered me as well. Just feels like one of many "convenient" things to happen to make the plot move forward without explaining it
Me too, eventho there are so many people trashing Siho character, i knew where she was coming from when she made…
Its funny, I haven't seen Siho being trashed on any other website. Haven't checked the comments here recently but if thats a popular opinion on MDL then🤷♀️ She's loved pretty much everywhere else as she should be
