Seungyeon has improved a lot as an actress through her work. Isn't that an ideal career path? She didn't start receiving praise until just a few years ago when she won a Blue Dragon for Aloners. And now she's deservedly getting her flowers for this role

Obviously Yirang is a deeply flawed character, but the pride and arrogance likely stems from being fed stuff about how important her family is her entire life. How she's destined to be queen, etc. etc.

99% sure the queen's father (aka Jin-Mu) is who actually killed the king. The weird cut between her burning the paper and the palace being on fire is a misdirect imo. We will be shown what really happened later on

That "lord" is her father. And the reason for her desperation we have already been told. Her family has produced 4 queens. It has been her destiny probably most of her life. She's obviously very arrogant/prideful but i think its pretty obvious there will be more to her character. Her singular motivation is to keep her son safe.
And I doubt the fire she started is what killed the king. I'm sure there'll be a plot twist later on where it was actually her father. His motivation being that her son (who is also his grandson) take and keep the throne

Ji-Mu is the kings grandfather lol. If this was a saeguk he would not conspire against him to put someone not related to him on the throne. He would do whatever it took to get rid of the crown prince if anything

I kinda doubt it. I think their main priorities (one leading the country and the other raising the next king) will be forefront in their mind. With the added detail of the PM having feelings for FL I don't really see them going that way.

Not sure what you're on about. The only character outside the leads who we've seen with a crush is the prime minister. He clearly has feelings for FL but I doubt it will be more than a one-sided thing.
But even if the SFL did have romantic interest in ML in the past she's clearly focused on her son right now. Not sure how you could interpret the teasers any other way🤷
