On Through the Darkness Feb 27, 2022
I can't praise enough all the actors in the show, that interrogation scene was truly magnificent!
Also I'm starting to get really worried about Song Ha Young, those cases are getting deep inside his mind. How can we wait a week after that teaser??

Or if you want a kdrama, then Mouse! It has basically everything I listed above too I think
Seconding The Bad Kids and Mouse, those are so good and similar to Strangers from Hell. The bad kids cinematography and directing was amazing, the way the director was able to convey things without even showing them is praise worthy. I'll add to your list: The Guest (even though it's a horror with supernatural elements) because it has a similar cinematography to Strangers from Hell and Extracurricular because it has a similar vibes (corruption arc, open ending)

Compared to HosPlay, i think this drama is grossly underrated
The word underrated and Flower of Evil should never go together. It's one of the dramas that get recommended more often and it has high votes everywhere, it has even won prices. Think about how many dramas are out there being ignored

The most commendable thing this drama did is to make so many people believe this is actually good. It’s just…
Your opinion. I'm watching Flower of Evil right now and it's more of a melodrama than a thriller to me

honestly i liked special episodes a lot. the way Jung Ba Reum switched from good to evil was really fascinating…
100% agree. Lee Seung Gi nailed the part.

Title The Guest
To me, The Guest is still the best Korean horror show, it's not going to be easy to find something like this.…
I'm watching The Devil Judge right now! You're right, I'm feeling a lot of similar vibes to the two main characters in Beyond Evil from the mains in this show. Extracurricular was such a great show too, I hope that Class of Lies is just as good (I have yet to watch it).

I started Watcher too, but I put it on hold because I found the first episode a bit difficult to follow unfortunately

This was perfect! I enjoyed every second of it and it was really well produced. Acting is amazing too. I want…
To me, The Guest is still the best Korean horror show, it's not going to be easy to find something like this. But if you don't mind the fact that it doesn't have any supernatural elements, Strangers from Hell comes close, very different, but just as good.

I watched other horror shows like Kingdom and Hellbound, with a bigger budget than this one, but they didn't touch me like The Guest.

If you don't mind watching thrillers then I highly suggest watching Mouse (my fave), Beyond Evil and Life on Mars. Signal is another good thriller with a trio as the main characters. They're not horror, but maybe you will like them too.

I can NOT be the only one pissed at PD Choi? Lets forget the fact that some how this random girl shows up and…
She was traumatized by her time spent with a serial killer and she couldn't forgive herself for being his accomplice, thus causing the death of an innocent and kind woman. She couldn't just go home like nothing happened. It was when she finally confessed and paid for her crime that she was able to let go of the past and forgive herself. As for her fake identity it's true that they never explained how she managed to create one, but it didn't bother me that much honestly.

Don't mind the ratings, people don't normally rate thrillers highly because they are complicated and uncomfortable.…
I hope the ratings will get better as the story moves forward.

There are both, but it's not the main focus
There are two Male Leads, and they develop a strong friendship through the drama, but it's not the main focus like in Beyond Evil, for example. The protagonist, Lee Seung Gi's character, also has a little romance with what we could call the FL.

The premise is interesting, but the execution feels like it's lacking something.
I sort of agree, but I also think it's getting better after watching the fourth episode.
