I understand people love this show, and I respect everyone's tastes and preferences, but the only thing keeping me hooked to this show is Yoo In Na. She's absolutely GORGEOUS.

WHO IS EUGENE? Here's my theory.

I think Eugene is Seo Hyun Tae and his wife's daughter, Yoo Jin. Yoo Jin, Eugene, get it? In one of the previous episodes, the wife mentions how Yoo Jin is working on her thesis and doesn't have time to come to Korea. The thesis possibly was "Tracking Chimera", which was shown in Episode 16.

She probably never told her parents she was an FBI agent (there are some things you can't even tell family as an agent) and she never came across Seo Hyun Tae or his wife during the show. Moments before Hyun Tae's death, his assistant tells him that his wife is in the US helping their daughter Yoo Jin move in and she will spend a month there. Eugene left Korea during the same timespan.

Also, during her final meeting with LJY, Eugene asks him if he has made peace with the owner of the Francis Bacon painting (Hyun Tae's wife) because she wanted to know if her Oppa hates her mom or not? I mean why'd she ask only about her? Another key point is that Eugene has a Francis Bacon book also, probably from her Amma.

That's maybe why she was so tight-lipped about her parents and her past.

Alright guys so I wanna start this but before that I need a genuine review to episode 1 so please give me a non…
To be fair, it was not exceptional nor bad. It was a decent first episode, definitely not a 9.2/10 but I understand why the ratings are so high. I'd surely give it a couple more tries, because it's unfair to judge a drama with only one episode.

Jisoo was really good during the first part of the episode as the college girl. The chemistry between the roommates is amazing. I LOVED the dorm scenes. However, she's not as polished during her romantic scenes with Jung Hae In. She seems confused, over expressive, but I'm sure she will perform better as the show progresses.

The politics is still confusing. I still don't understand who's who and what's what. I am also disappointed that we only had 10 seconds of Yoo In Na lol. I'd give the first episode a 7.5 so it's definitely worth a try.

What the fk is going on with the ratings like seriously? This should current sit at 8.5-8.7/10.Its the same with…
It's mainly because the drama had a slow start, and many people stopped watching after first couple of episodes. It's unfair to rate something without even watching it thoroughly but that's how viewers are these days, very impatient. They want action right from the word go. I love how Inspector Koo has gradually progressed without giving away much of the suspense. It's an 8.5 from me too.
