Good drama. The relationship between the leads was great and different -- a lot of healthy communication. Park Shin Hye acted really well. Loved Yoon Park's character; he should have more screen time. One thing I particularly liked about this drama is that Jeong Woo didn't invite his friends back to his clinic. Often in Korean dramas, there's just too much forgiveness for characters who have acted maliciously. Jeong Woo forgave them, but didn't offered them those lucrative jobs back. Also would have liked Jeong Woo to distance himself from his toxic parents. Lastly, I think the drama was dragged a bit. The story was good enough for 12 episodes.
The drama is all over the place with its story the soap opera - only thing here is a bigger budget. Every side…
This is the standard Korean template. Believe it not, people around the world love this template and watch these dramas for exactly this stuff. If you want to see innovative shows, you can watch American dramas.
Here's what I think. Eun Seong and Grandapa's gf are from the same family. They made it a point to have both of them cross their paths -- a scene that wasn't required. Their family was betrayed by grandpa when he was young. Maybe they were partners with the grandpa. The gf is trying to destroy family's relations while Eonsung will succeed in taking the company from them. The family will loss their wealth and live with Hyunwoo's family. This will help them to improve their relations with Hyunwoo's family and realize their mistakes. Hyunwoo will use his intelligence to get the company back and win their favor.
I don’t understand why grandpa’s girlfriend forbid grandpa’s other son to have them meeting? I get that…
It's because she's conspiring against the entire family. The grandpa's exiled son said that he was framed. I am pretty sure she's behind it. She made the grandpa's daughter go to jail. Now, it' time for her to frame Haein's father. Also, note her reaction when the grandpa says that his parents died when he was 15. I have a feeling that the grandpa was helped by her family and then he backstabbed her family as you can see that it's the tradition of Hong family.
Who else thinks the Grace lady lied? Because I think the opposite of what she said happened: Hae In wrote in her…
I think it might be true but for the other reason. Haein didn't write him in her will to free him from her family. If he was in the will, then he would have to remain with the family due to his assets.
despite the ML and FL being two of my favorite actors to watch im not vibing with this drama at all? i suspect…
I think their past relationship troubles will be explored later, which will help us understand what made them fall in love and how did they fell out of love.
Good series. 1- The overall story between mother and daughter was done very well. The cast was great and everyone acted well. 2- I like how they didn't try to force a father-daughter relationship. 3- But, I feel like that writing was very incoherent and messy throughout the drama. I think they wasted Park Sung Hoon's potential. He deserved more screentime and his relationship with Jinhee should have been explored more. Similarly, I think the police squad had a lot of potential. 4- Unlike others, I don't think anything was annoying about the mom character. She was a bit immature at times, but considering her background, it was acceptable. 5- The grandma who adopted the mother-daughter duo was practically invisible. She should have more scenes. 6- The criminal case was plain boring. Could have used that time to develop supporting characters. 7- I think it was a big plothole that Jin Hong never tried to learn about Eun Mi's life in 30 years, even after cutting off his parents.
The police cases are really interesting. Normally in such dramas, the female lead is annoying throughout most of the drama. But the FL in this drama is written well.
