I don't think the new old doctor intern with glasses is the villain. They are making it too obvious. It's old guy who disappeared. Note how he was trying to meet that old woman intern. I think she was his next victim.
Usually, k-dramas from early 2010s have a lot of cliches and poor writing. But, this drama was different. It holds up so well. The first 2-3 episodes are slow but once the first real twists comes in the story, the pacing improves greatly throughout the remaining show. The leads were great. The ML is one of the most intelligent MLs out there and the FL is one of the most adorable characters.
Can anybody explain the ending? I have seen comments saying Sunwoo dies in the past. But, how is the young Sunwoo supposed to go back in the past in first place? His brother is a doctor now, so he doesn't have a reason to find his brother and his incense sticks.
1- Why was the grandma openly supporting Ha Rin's pyramid game and control over school? I think it was too stupid. 2- Ha Rin's backstory made no sense. You can't say that those kids ganging up on her school was school violence. It was very mild bullying. The difference between that bullying and the bullying she does is massive.
This was one of the best thrillers I have watched. The writing on it was so good. The mental battle between the lead character and villain was so interesting.
I like the show, but there's something to be said for the brisker pace of J-dramas. I feel like the first three…
I think the best pace for Korean romcoms is 12 episodes. Most Korean romcoms could become instantly better if their content is wrapped into 12 episodes. With more episodes, they always bring back cliches or annoying conflicts.
