The problem with the drama isn't the FL's actress. She's doing a good job. She's just written to be that way. She has been only shown petty with the ML. So far, the series is trying to portray ML as the better person with acts of kindness while FL's behavior is shown to be like this because she suffered a lot during her younger years. The reason why you like the younger FL is because her character isn't written as unlikeable. It's probably a conscious choice to show how much she changed.
As for the bickering in 30s or 40s, it's one of the key traits of a k-drama. This is supposed to be how a Korean romcom is. If the leads actually communicated, the story would be over in 2-4 episodes.
Both lead characters are kind, which is one of my favorite tropes in k-drama. They are also doing a good job. FL really looks like a woman serious about her work. In most dramas, actresses don't seem that credible when they are supposed to be serious about their job.

I think her standing like a wall was intentional. They can't show her enjoying it. While Sanha never saw her as a sister, she saw him as a brother. So, it would be messed up if she enjoyed. The point of that scene was to show that her feelings towards him changed after the kiss.
However, it didn't work because the writers messed up from the beginning. I have said it before -- their subplot doesn't make sense because they have been growing in the same living spaces and both dads were parents to them. There was no difference between Sanha and Haejun in her eyes. The writers either had to show all 5 of them as a family or choose a romantic plot. They went with both ideas and it's conflicting.
While there are a lot of villains in this drama, I can't find any rationality in the actions of some of the characters. The parents' behavior makes zero sense after knowing their sons were guilty. That corrupt and abusive police officer is such a psycho. He was so confident about Jeongu being guilty, yet he planted the evidence himself.
Excellent thriller. While there was enough story for 14 episodes, I think the pacing in the last few episodes was weird. Would have liked to see that abusive police officer getting beaten in the prison. It was sad to see the elder twin brother die -- he was the only good friend; The chemistry between the cop, ML, and Seol was great
The final minutes of this drama where it shows the time lapse feels so nostalgic and depressing. You can feel your life flashing from childhood to adulthood.
Question for those who are watching it. Why does it give old k-drama vibes? Old k-dramas had a lot of annoying cliches and characters. I hope this doesn't have that.
Hae Jun's proposal to Juwon was cringe. He literally grew with her in the same home. Hae Jun is shown so dumb in this subplot that I really judge his IQ to be in double digits.
As for Juwon and Sanha, it's not that bad but the setting is still messed up. She called both of them their family and everyone saw them as brothers. Separate house doesn't matter if you are living and growing up in the same spaces. With the tone and theme of the show having all 5 of them living as a family, I think the wiser choice was to improve this remake by creating a brother-sister bond between all three of them. Love doesn't only exist in romantic form.
Yes, I know audiences like romance angles. But, seeing how great Dal's character is, they could have just introduced two cool characters as Sanha and Juwon's partners. There's also a lot of potential for comedy and drama there.
While the whole drama was great, I think they messed up with the Satan storyline in episode 12. He was killed so easily. If you are naming him Satan, then at least give us a good battle between both him and Justitia. Justitia was never truly challenged when she had our powers. This was a good way to challenge her. Even Paimon challenged her more.
Whenever I read a movie or series summary that trashes Park Shin Hye I move that show to the top of my "To Watch"…
