I'm actually so glad that whilst sticking to the original story, they changed things like Kang Haejun's love life…
This actor's chemistry with his adopted dad is better than the other two kids and their dads. His acting elevates the series a lot.

I judge Sanha's dad a lot for marrying that woman. Sanha's mom is straight up psycho. She has been psychologically tormenting him all his life.

I think the show lost its edge after the timeskip. After showing such a strong bond between all these characters, they made both MLs ignore their their dads and Juwon for 10 years. They could have met at least one.

Their excuses don't make sense. When Juwon wanted to see Sanha, she went to see him in the morning. Sanha could have done the same. As for Hae Jun, time and again his dad has showered him with love and trust, yet he couldn't reach out to him once.

Do you think there are real people like Juwon's dad out there? Who can raise someone's kid with this much self-sacrifice?

Very entertaining show. It can be a bit slow and you need to fast-forward, but it's totally worth watching. It also takes proper time for character development. One thing I absolutely loved about this show is that it didn't force a romance subplot.

It might be a stupid question, but are they going for a love track between FL's mom and ML's father?

I have watched 4 episodes so far. So far, two characters/actors stole the show. Juwon's father and Hae Jun. Their acting is too good.

Kim Jae Young is so good at kissing too! He's got moles on his neck & shoulder 🫣😗
What does moles on shoulder have to do with it?

It's nearly a year since I watched it and still remains with you. One of the best written love stories in any medium.

I love weekend dramas when written well, such as Once Again. What other weekenders have you given a 8+ rating…
My Father Is Strange and Once Again are in top tier. Five Enough and What Happened To My Family are on a lower tier.

Iron Family is a weekend drama. Weekend dramas usually have 50 episodes. Then it was changed recently for them…
It's probably to prevent the story from dragging. 50-episode weekend dramas have some unnecessary and boring plots.

This was an excellent drama. The lead FLs were fantastic. One thing that made it unique was that unlike most of k-dramas, it was written well for all 16 episodes.

It had promise, especially with two really good actors as leads. But, the writing quality was average to poor throughout the drama. Also, the forced romcom plot between the ML and FL's friends was one of the worst I have seen in a k-drama.

It was a good series. It had the potential to be great but messed up in the 2nd half. I think the problem with some of these romcoms is that while they do a great job of romance, chemistry, and comedy, they fail massively when it comes to the "drama" part of the show. I haven't a problem with drama or conflicts, but at least write it better.

Technically, it's a good drama. But, something was missing from it. I can't exactly point it out. Maybe it was too similar to other romcoms? Or I think the cancer plot from episode 6 to episode 10 changed the tone of drama from romcom to melodrama. I think the writing failed to utilize the cast's brilliance.

Because other foster children came to their house before her father's death. Ji uk came to her house after her father died, which means that despite knowing that Hae Young left house after her husband's death due to a foster child's father, the mother brought another foster child to their house. In addition, Ji Uk hid his identity. She's also probably kinda jealous/regretful that Ji Uk lived with her mother before she started losing her memories, especially after going through her mom's diary which mention Ji Uk.
