do you like to test your patience?

first i want to say i have nothing agaisnt slowburn, thats why i watched 10 eps already, while i started this excited i have to say the first half was good ,yeah the eps were long but watchable, but the second half was really bad..and im struggling to finish this

the plot:
there is many flaws with the plot, i dont mind long eps if there is things to include, but no in this one its long for no reason, many filler scenes ,for example did they really need a whole part of an ep to show a pregnant woman giving birth?
we dont need 12 eps with every ep 1h and 20 mins of nothing going on?? this show had potentiel but was ruined by both the long eps and Pat's character, this could do better if it was a 7-8 eps (30 mins per ep) its enough of time for this serie..
and while i like what the story about, you know office and work romance etc and that they are focusing on the professional life ,but why the ML is acting like a kid? yeah Pat's character is what i will talk about next

Pat's character:
fr how did they think a character like Pat is likeable and suitable to be a ML? i dk, we are supposed to like the MLS together but here i'am wanting Jeng to look for someone else, Pat's attitude,not only he cant handle criticism ,he is crying every ep and being a dramaqueen, are we supposed to like this type of character? the happy ending should be about Jeng finding another guy
fr how did Put (his ex) put up with him in the past? also how did Pat finish his education if every word about his work and his project presentations hurt him and make him look rudely at people? thats a mystery
it was a very wrong move for them to make Pat's character so unlikeable like that

MLS relationship:
Jeng /Pat:
so while the nc scenes are hot, and Jeng being whipped, they literaly gave us 3 out of 4 parts of an ep for them to be happy ,later on bringing drama on part 4, drama again, not even one ep of them being together and happy.. so people waited for forever in order for them to get together, it happened and in a very short time they are breaking up and then the time skip ? no thank you.
Jaab /Jane:
while it started as a cheating situation, the eps are so long but they didnt bother to show Jane apologizing at his current bf at that time for what he did, ridiculous? yes
right when Jane broke up and told Jaab , Jaab gave him the cold shoulder and the situation stayed like that for ages, so all those eps and they didnt think to talk and communicate?
and suddenly Jaab getting a boyfriend but they didnt bother to show us how he did meet him, its like "hello now i have a bf"??, those things show the issues of this plot, they dont show important scenes but they add filler scenes instead

there is only 2 eps left to watch, and usually if im near the end and start to not feel in the mood to watch, i still watch because its only 2 eps left, but even i cant bring myself to watch, so im putting this on hold so maybe later when i feel motivated enough id finish it, and i dont find myself recommending this,
the only positive points:
i love Chot's character he is so adorable, i also like to stare at Jaab's visual, this guy is so pretty fr
and the main positive point is Jeng, we discovered him through this serie, so i hope i see that actor in more bls in the futur and i hope he pick up better series

the leads repulsed by the thought of having one kiss

when i watched the serie first, i can tell that both dont want to kiss but i was like "whatever" the story was so good then and fun so i was able to ignore it but here the movie is kinda slow, not many things going on and the fake kisses?? i mean i will not mind if there is no kiss at all instead of making fake kiss scenes while its so obvious that they are not kissing and it make me wonder ,why those people act as a couple in bls if it make them feel so uncomfortable? look its not a bed scene or anything but one kiss repulse them and i just find it ridiculious? stick to straight series if you cant deal with acting in a bl because i watch and as a viewer i dont get the feels that "those two are in love" their scenes do look awkward asf.
only 2 positive things i want to mention , i like Kurosawa's character , so understanding so patient,so supportive and so in love, the other thing is Yutaro i love his blond hairstyle look so good on him and he is so pretty, i wish to see him in another bl but as a main character instead

Fun and entertaining

*major spoilers**
While I do like Kikuchi more than Hatano, like most people, I don’t understand the intense hate Hatano receives. At this point, the ‘he is a minor’ argument feels more like an excuse, especially since the male lead chose to wait for him, and there’s only a small age gap between them. One point I do agree with is that Kikuchi is the better choice, and the previous seasons focused more on him than on Hatano, so it’s understandable that people expected Kikuchi to be the endgame. I had an issue with how easy they brushed off Kikuchi but Still, I don’t think Hatano is such a ‘terrible choice.’ He’s fine. I also watched the earlier seasons a long time ago, so my attachment to either love interest isn’t strong enough for me to dismiss the entire series over the final choice. I was prepared for any type of ending, including him choosing no one. Overall, I think the show is still good, light, fun, and not something that needs to be taken too seriously.

Disappointing…

This show started off strong, but eventually it became so over the top and exaggerated so i lost interest. Chet’s character, in particular, was exhausting to watch , his scenes felt repetitive, always screaming or losing his mind on loop. Because of that, I couldn’t get into the bodyguard ship at all; he was just too unlikeable for me, even though I know the role must have been draining for the actor (I have nothing agaisn't the actor ,i'm annoyed at the character).

The moment Pheem shot Than was the turning point to me. After that scene, I couldn’t root for the couple anymore, no matter how much I tried. It completely changed the way I looked at their relationship. This hugely ruined it for me tbh. it doesn't help that it feels like Than forgive so easily.

Aside from that, the show turned into a nonstop mess ,if it wasn’t Chet’s repetitive scenes, it was constant shooting scenes, as if everyone lived permanently in a forest. I really wish they had toned things down and found other ways to keep the story engaging, because it all become repetitive.

I ended up finishing it only because of DaouOffroad and because I was already close to the end. It’s not that the show had zero good points, but for me, the bad definitely outweighed the good. I hope they give them a better project next time

not bad but im confused?

this is not bad but i have many questions, when i first realised that its censored i thought that its from china but it turn out from Taiwan and i thought since when Taiwan make censored bls? anyway, going further, i liked the music, it was entertaining enough to watch, its easy to watch it as its on youtube, i liked how the ml is helping the other with his social issues but...
there is no confirmation of their relationships as couple, it felts like a bromance and most of their romantic scenes are "people around them" thinking that they are dating while its just a misunderstanding, there is no "i have romantic feelings to this guy" etc... it didnt feel like a bl to me

best bl serie i have seen!! i'm obsessed

im sad its over!!! i usually fed up with long serie but guess what? i didnt feel bored of this serie, its so gooooooood
shenanigans that keep you watching, no filler scene, amazing plot, amazing acting fr i think the whole cast did great, im so impressed with Li's acting, gosh you guys have no idea how much i want a season 2 or a sequel or a serie like this bl.
i wanted to see more moments of Jui and Tian i cant get enough of them
i also dont understand why this is so underrated, many bl watchers dont know about this serie and it doesnt have a lot of watchers compared to other series, and barely any reaction videos im sad, this deserves so much recognition!!
if you are a bl fan this is a must watch! highly recommended

questions no answers , great couple terrible plot!!

what the hell is this plot? i mean when i watched the first few eps it had potential but it sinked like titanic?? omg ,the way they did get a good couple but wasted them on a horrible plot, whats a waste you all, this is upsetting!! the first eps got me excited, hot men, crazy chemistry,cinematography, great music ,mafia vibe too? you know ,i love all those things, but later on it turned to a huge mess, plenty of questions but no answer, i dont think the writer of this show even know what the answers are, this is the weirdest and most confusing plot i have seen? i did consider dropping it many times ,ended up skipping the silly fights, let me not get started with how Ken keep getting choked every ep, his poor neck attacked for almost half of the scenes fr, give his neck a rest and let it heal in peace ? i really want to see this couple in another bl but with a good plot this time, they deserve better than this!!

its not as bad as many people are trying to make it look like

now, if i saw the comments before i watch id be avoiding this but what happened now is that i checked the comments when i already watched it, things like that make me realise to not avoid shows just because someone said so, so whenever you will end up liking this serie or not i advice everyone to just check out and to not get so influenced by the comments, because sometimes you can end up liking something that someone else didnt.

as any show of course there is things that i liked and things that i disliked so thats why i put spoilers warnings
things i disliked:
i do agree that in the middle (halfway through the eps) it was a bit slow ,"just a little bit" then the pace pick up again, there is times when i felt bothered about how much selfless palm is (that could be a charm as well) but i think of it as no, someone like palm will get hurt a lot in a world like this, i also didnt like the obsession of meeting only one time in a year (they were kinda of forcing that idea in the end) and the last drama of palm leaving was a bit unecessary tbh, i also think they should have shown palm's dad after hiding ,because thats the last we heard about him,
there is few things that they could have added too, i wanted to see palm and neung openly telling their families that they are dating (we never saw that), i wanted to see chopper/ben kiss but im not complaining as seeing them confirming their relationship and holding hands was heartwarming (we were saved from a high five lmao) and the chemistry is good, i find myself giggling about their interactions
but one thing i want to complain about, i wish they got more sceentime, we have seen a lot about palm neung and about chopper dad, but i wanted to see how ben is living and how he is dealing with his homophobic dad and his struggles ,there is a lot to explore there

things i loved:
-i loved when palm's friend told him that he should stand up for himself and that he should love himself, because he needs to hear that ,he looks like he always put others before himself
-i loved how he also praised neung and told him how good he did when he took over his mum, i love seeing a supportive boyfriend who is always there for his boyfriend and who make sure his boyfriend know he did great
-can i also talk about the music? its so gooood, gmmtv killing it with good songs i discovered a lot of good songs because of them.
-i liked seeing the grief part when palm was dealing with his mum's loss, the steps of process, first he pushed nuengdiao harshly then come to the realisation of what he did, then drinking and asking nueng for a dance, it was touching to see nueng comforting him as much as he can i'd say thats my favorite part.
-passive top and dominant bottom? yes i love to see that (as much as i love seeing switch couples etc) so i love to see how neung confessed first and how he asked palm to be his boyfriend, i love that just as much as he lean into palm's protection, he also take care of palm when he should, i love how honest he is even if some people think of him as a bit rude, it only show how human he is so he is not flawless just because he is the main character
note: i think from now on ,everytime i see a couple dancing id think of palm and neung because its their thing

another note about how i judge if a serie is good or not: i'am having good time watching or not? what i cant stand are slow plots with nothing going on, as nothing turn me off like feeling im about to sleep when im watching
about this show? i never felt that im about to sleep when im watching which is the opposite of few other series , so it was entertainning , i was interested enough to watch and enjoyed watching . so im not saying this show is perfect but i dont find it as bad as some people said. if you want to check it out just check it out, preferences are different from one person to another

hot nc scenes thats all

if you like watching nc scenes then you are going to enjoy those scenes they are good, but if you also want a good plot, sorry to break the news to you but there is barely any plot
3 eps every ep is about 5 mins but half of the time is AV scenes (nc scenes) , the editing part look bad, the plot look confusing and just not good enough, id say there is no depth and you will not feel attached to the characters because there is no time nor more info to feel fond of them, the ending of the last ep (ep 3) is so unsatisfactory too
and of course im checking here because i check almost everything i see then i wonder what im watching lol

i watched only for Syn and Nuer

the only good thing about this serie is Syn and Nuer tbh, and even they cant save this show, there is nothing going on in this serie, barely anything, its just fan service and i was about to fall asleep when im watching this
i want to see Syn and Nuer in another serie but not a tiktok one, not a 2 mins videos no thank you, so i coudnt watch Our Winter and they have another tiktok one Crush on You ? why!!!!lets stop with those 2 min videos we can barely watch anything. i heard they have another new serie together about jade's character in bed friend so im looking forward for that one, i really hope the plot is good because i cant deal with nonsense and bs like this one and its not that cutie pie s1 was good, no it wasnt. Kuea's character is so frustrating to watch, he is that partner that will stress you out and give you gray hair in your 20-30 age, the guy cant communicate at all and is always whinning non stop. miscommunication happen to couples but he is the worst as 0 communication on his part, and he is great at assuming because thats the only thing he keep doing
the second couple look so stiff and so awkward so i also dont like them that much, the only couple i do love is Syn and Nuer and i really hope for good plot because no matter how much i love a couple, if the plot is so bad i will not be able to fully watch nor enjoy it

Strong Start, frustrating finish

I enjoyed most of the show, but the last two to three episodes were disappointing and rushed.
I started the series really liking Il-Jo, but in the final episodes his character became increasingly frustrating. Being submissive doesn’t mean letting everyone walk all over you and acting helpless all the time. By the end, it felt like Jeong Han was the only one putting real effort into fixing their relationship.

The drug storyline was another issue: both male leads knew about Jeong In’s drug use, yet the decision to report it to the police only happened ages later, while he could have done that 2 episodes ago... the main target was IIJo but of course he wasn't the one who reported him nor thought of reporting him for the drugs and the assault.
Overall, it felt like many things could have been handled better in those last 3 eps. That said, the chemistry between the male leads was strong, and the earlier episodes were much better written and more engaging. Despite its flaws, I’d still recommend giving it a watch
