can you tell me why you dropped where the mask ends.. because i've also been having a hard time keeping up with the episodes or even getting excited to watch each episode.
i feel like there are a whole lot of pushing and pulling... not to mention each episode brings a whole new set of turmoil and at first for me.. i couldn't put the show down.. but after episode 16 it all felt repetitive every single episode.. but im still sticking to it in hope of getting excited for the episodes once more.
The biggest flaw in the argument that Namgung emotionally cheated is that people are judging him for his thoughts…
but thats the thing though Namgoogn wasn't even engaging the thought of another woman in his life before the whole "1 month relationships" thing.. so he didn't cheat neither emotionally or physically.. but Mido actively entertained that crazy guy (Taesang). there is a huge difference between the two.
and also we have to remember that the leads are both broken up at the time being.. so is it technically cheating... I don't think so!
If she ends up happy with TaeSeung do you not think thats worse
that would be the absolute worst ending possible... the leads should not get back together.. but the leads getting back together is a far better outcome than Mido ending up with Taesang.

but thats the thing.. this is supposed to resemble real life..and in real life most people would've done the same thing as namgoong.... when someone is depressed, you as a caring individual of said person would try to help them try to find happiness while also helping them gain control of their mental illness.. but if he genuinely thought that was what was needed to help with her depression then that makes sense.
but yeah.. i get where you are coming from.. people have long been criticizing the writer and her trashy plot.. its not news, but you going as far as calling her a misogynist just doesn't make any sense.. Because a misogynist is a person who discriminates and holds a deep hatred for Women.
Criticize the writer for her lack of depth with the characters... don't just assume that she is a misogynist because she failed to further construct Mido's character.

but i feel like attaching yourself to the years they spent together is kind of taking away from all the toxicity within the relationship.
sure they have a deep rooted love for one another and they were doing things for the betterment of the other person.. but in doing that they were only hurting themselves.
they lacked communication, and it just felt like they were two adults heading into two different places.. rather than being in harmony and heading towards the same goal. ( A married couple becomes one.. and typically take steps to achieve goals together and take everythiing one step at a time.. together, not separately)
and then the whole thing that to me is unforgivable is that she cheated on him and her excuse was "i like him thats why i kissed him, he gave me butterflies" to me how can i go back to a person who just said that to my face after knowing each other for more than 2 decades.. close to 3,and dating for a whole 10 years.
i'm not saying that Mido should end up with Taesang because that is the last thing anyone wants... but Mido should just take the time to heal... focus on getting her directing up and running, also to focus on her mental health.
namgoong and suah ending up together would be preferred because they both are going towards the same path... they communicate their feelings and the misunderstandings are cleared up right away.
but thats just my view on this.. but each person has a differing opinion.

if the writer truly did hate women.. then Suah's character wouldn't be as lovable... the only mistake that is getting mido trashed is the fact that she cheated.. which newsflash.. women cheat too, its not just men.. so i'm confused as to how this automatically makes the writer "hater of women?"
no one is saying that her good was forgotten.. but cheating is still cheating.. just because to you a kiss doesn't mean much doesn't mean it isn't that bad.. and not to mention she even doubled down and said "i kissed him because i like him, he gave me butterflies" how can you say that to a man that you have known and loved for over 10 yrs.
No one is denying that a huge portion of Namgoong's upbringing was because of Mido.. but that still doesn't excuse her cheating.. AT ALL. but as if that wasn't bad enough... Namgoong had no sense of self respect that he was willing to allow her to go and be with the man if that's what made her happy as long as they still go through with the wedding... like is he insane or what??
im not saying your opinion is wrong.. but its more of an assumption becuase the show isn't going the way you want.
