I like so much his character , fun, capable, i enjoy so much, but honestly for Ning and for all women he is not an ideal type. Therefore if Ning can not be with him, seriously noting lost. Zichuan clan faced many internal and external strifes,during the process, there arebetrayal, loyality ww, power struggle thus both SYL and DL died. Ning and ZX also faced many trials in this process. In the book Zichuan, Lin and Liu Feng Shuang are human race who control/share the whole planet and others are demons, orcs thus they are slaves to human race etc...(in the north, there are also tribes princess ka dan etc. they have demons .). Please watch all episodes - it might not be exactely the same.

I had unsuscribed for 1 year or so, but recently i resubscribed because i want to watch Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty 3: To Changan after having watched 1/2 on youtube for free. in 2024/2025, i have not finished any C-drama series mostly dropped at ep1/2 or in the middle: especially the famous ones with high rating. Now this one i will watch to the end - just 24 ep, it is quick and it does not take too much energy.

Ma Wai is a calculating charater hope he will treat well the princess Ning who is i feel growing with the help from elders from child/sumissive play to responsable one in order to govern Zichuan. Anyway I like Zichuan Xiu charaterization - grounded, pratical, realisticm pragamatics, that one really fits to the rality of ground situation where basic needs are lacking everywhere. I hope General YQX and Princess Ka Dan will be happy together at the end. Anyway in the old times our ancestors were struggled, fought, worked hard, lived and enjoyed like this. Even my parents did not know each other until they were married, but they both happily lived together relying on each other, loyal to each other for the whole of their life.

finished all 10 episodes, I am really glad to see that the elders in this drama are very considerate towards the younger generation - very sastified, i hope that all couples will see the reality and not torment for what it is no longer feasible and happey and respect each other. It is light and enjoyable series, at this moment we need it. I dropped so many series at the moment, this one i wont.

Yes, agree because all of lost tombs/tomb of the sea are great drama series with same charaters wu xie, zhang qi ling etc.. from the same book. However, I really like to see a movie to portray WZH (here ZH is a Feng Shui master like WZH) - how WZH family was destroyed and what was that ultimate and what thing to trigger it. And who were Zhang family with whom WZH family went againt ( in line with the book) . Here the FL appears to be a princess of fallen Dongxia -and it looks like the imortal thing was initially triggered by or belonged to Dongxia - so it is different from book. I hope like you they did not copy some ideas from the book and create a different story. For me WZH is much a greater personality than ZH here.
