A very good drama, i love it.

I always mix him with cheng yi

I hope this one is a good one. I feel that if LXY can do a drama with song yi, it could make a good movie too.

Just finsihed, it was really a good movie much better than those famous ones, 18 ep with 30 min, only. The currently aired famous ones I am so bored of them all similar even the actings are so the same everywhere. So I watched this - i dropped so many dramas this one i finsihed all episodes.

OK i will watch this and skip the princess's gambit that is not my like.

I like Ma Wei charatization both in the book and in the movie. ZN does not love him at all. Neither ZX loves her too.

Well I rated very high 8+++ overall because at least (though it does not follow the book - book is much better) it is not exergerated nor over-realitics, it is even a little kinder than the reality. The movie really shows us that there is only a thin line between bad , good and so called heros. Evryone abuse power and status one way or another some in name of individual benefits, others in name of so called noble cause, but both abuse power. Nobody is less vilain than vilains/so called heros. So i rated high for it. However except for this, the movie does not portray the different races such as human, demo, orcs, dragons etc.... . From the bottom of my heart, I wished that Northern clan to develop/improve the living standard of their own people/12 tribes so that they can diminish the gap between them and education will be higer , only then they can compet with Xichuan (or) human races (in the book they are a demo nation) but ....only my wish. I like this one much more than rebirth, revenge blah blah series.

Well SYL's speech is so good , he not only calme down people's emtion but also save the image of clan - clan Not the whole but the image of clan's elites - them indeed! as you are powerless you have bow down from time to time to rise up again. All these things for me too much irony /hypocracy but the real world we live in much worser than it.

And the book portray so well of the real work we live in. We can have a good leader like zx maximun, no more no less, even him is not so so good still. That's the reality. DL/SYL/MW all are more or less the same nothing special, some sacrifce people in nale of herosim/unifying the world, some will do the same to become powerful , the results remain the same/similar. In between they think so little/zero about ordinary people'wellbeing. At times, they might think about simply because they are obligated to because they have already sacrficed 1 millions ordinary people for their so called unification or noble cause. All in all reading book is much better than a movie. It is a fatansy but you can project into the world we live in 100%. Human race, demo race, animal race whatever they name, weak, strong and strongest nations ...

For the moment Ning can not influence those who have far experience than her of course, because she is beginner at work, nobody cares her. But you will see very soon, she is finally going to decide for her people/country. And she wont even ask ZX to marry her or similar. Afterall, i feel that zx simply does not love her at all. Why should she lose her youth with him if it is not reciprocal. And everyone knows that have a massive power/influence does not make always life eaiser/happier, she does not lack anything at all, thus she lose zero.

Hmm, according to the book, he did it not only yz but also northen demo (princess kadan and her father) . Yes true. to be honest among all those 3 characters they portray, i like the most zx because he at least think of the ordinary people - for syl/dl and others - we can say great heros of Xichuan but for their ego/honor many died too. at the end i like also princess ZN, she think about people and country not egoist nor selfish at all. But actually this is how the world works no? if and only we as ordinary people can live , work, eat and enjoy our life peacefully how would it be so great?

The ordinary people do not care who rule the world as long as there are enough food to feed the family are when they are forced to the war - to make heros more heros, millions are sacrificed.
