In comparison, even manipulative Cangxuan is still better than Tushan jing, (Spoiler) remains mopey & clingy to her whole story and got her on sacrifices of other ml. In end, doesn't matter who gets girl. She only have her own strength to rely upon. Simply, not in every story fl ends up with a worthy 'knight in shining armour' man. Its title "Zhang Xiang Si" itself a big hint, that story is about yearning for lost love forever.
