I agree with the first dislike, second half became too political with such little action going on + we aren't even getting the cutesy moments of our leads like in the first half. For the second dislike, I wouldn't say Neungyang was evil, he protected the village of DongJoo whenever there were tresspasers, was only yearning for DongJoo's love, and the misunderstanding that the king was after him that led to him capturing the throne. It really wasn't a bad end for Nokdu either. He reunites with her mom, married the love of his life, and most of all growed and find what's meaningful to him
This was my first whispering corridor(only one on Netflix) and so I concluded the WC series as overrated. But I'm glad to know this one is the worst out of all, it was confusing and I just watched it a week ago and can't even remember the ending. Going to try the others!
THANKYOU FOR THIS! It expressed the hot mess that I felt while watching this show. I at least enjoyed Love alarm or Nevertheless however here all characters we're ridiculous and had me unengaged the whole time. Finished it only for the sake of finishing it
I wish Lee do Hyun would like move away from this genre I feel like his talent being wasted honestly.
Dohyun is young and fresh off a grand actor award in KBS, for now he'll be fine besides he shines a lot in these roles. However in the future, he does need to move away from this genre
