I am so loving on the Lord of the Pavillion to be a ML for once. Yes please. But I will bet there will be no kissing in this drama. It seems to be a rule now where kissing is not allowed. smh
The synopsis gives me "To Sir With Love" 1967 with Sidney Poitier, vibes. I saw it as a young girl and if really affected me. So I will watch the first episode and hope that it is a good drama for me to watch. I've watched far too many this year that I have had to drop for one reason or another. So I will start this now with trepidation.
I just may have to try to watch his since Alen Feng is the Lead. However goofy it looks, I may like the silliness. It is strange however that Feng is on such a zany drama. We shall see.
Just being curious.Does Liu Yuning has any dramas with kissing scenes because i didn't see any as to date Someone…
Oddly enough, I was going to post the same thing, so it must have been painfully obvious to many of us. LOL I'm not surprised there were no kissing scenes as he seemed very awkward at playing the leading man in a romance, so..... I'm watching him also at the same time in Legend of Anle and he does much better when he is mourning an unrequited love or in other dramas, no love at all. I really hope he will get over his shyness and show us some good PDA in the near future. As for the age gap? What an insult to us older women who date younger men. What? We're not allowed that? Paahhleeeese! . We're not dead ya know? lol Speaking of age difference in a drama though. Sexy Jerry Yan had one recently where his lover is 20 years, both in the drama and in reality, and the kissing was too delicious. Check it out if you haven't already; Forbidden Flower. Anyway, final analysis, I guess it's okay to show it in dramas (too many to count) of older men and younger women, but not the opposite. *rolling my eyes* ^,^
Zhang Han may have been blackballed due to negative reaction of his last film. He's been accused of sexual harassment and of being rude to directors etc. I really like him and his acting and didn't really see anything bad about GOE8thST but nasty netizens can really affect the career of people. It's really sad.
I got so bored and annoyed over Yan Yue wanting to kill Wei Zhi all the time that I have skipped a lot of it. What's worse is the ending. It's so convoluted and wrapped in so-called mystery that it made it intolerably hard to decipher. Sometimes a non-ending ending in a drama leaves us to guess but it still works for the drama. They leave an intrigue with a lovely taste to it. This however this is not one of those. This ending just plain sucked and ruined what was otherwise a pretty decent and highly produced drama. This could have been a power drama, but there were too many variables that ruined it for that title.
I like scrolling through comments about the drama, but most of these should have been put on SPOILER, because they are literally telling the story to those of us who are new viewers. I have now found out one devastating thing and I've had to stop reading comments. Thank you.
What MM parents did was literally child abuse, they should be in prison they also contributed for MM death theres…
OMG, I'm not even close to that yet and I just read your comment!!! Please please for those of us who are new viewers, put this on SPOILER. Thank you. sigh....now I'm so sad.
