I feel ya. I'm 67 and recent surgery but there are 3 IQIYI dramas that I'm watching at the same time. I just go back and forth, like you would on TV nighttime dramas here in the States. But I understand. Wish there was a free channel to play these dramas though.
After watching some recent dramas that lost my interest and I either FF to get to the end or I just stopped after some episodes, how refreshing this unique drama brings to us. Love the Leads and some of the supporting cast and the plot really has my attention. Come on CDrama writers and give us more unusual and exciting content for our viewing pleasure. ha
I'm struggling through this drama. It just gets dumber and dumber. The ML was sexy and manly in his ancient mode, but when he cut his hair and wore modern clothes, he lost all that sex appeal. What's worse is when he started to like the FL, he got stupid and that turned me off. I usually love a man that tries to get the girl's attention, but this is too much!! I will FF the rest, I'm on Ep 10 and really don't care to see these two men act like weak idiots. If I were Miss Ye, I would not be attracted to Mr. Lu. She is a smart and driven business woman and he's just pathetic.

Look at Xu Kai in his recent dramas, he looks like a teenager. lol These Chinese men are just very young looking. Good genes I guess. Personally I love their looks, even the older ones have maintained their handsomeness.
Shen Yue is now a beautiful young lady and she needs to graduate to making serious dramas to fit a mature woman. I don't know about the rest of you, but it looks as though her teeth aren't as prominent as in Meteor Garden, like she has had them a little straightened. But seeing photos of her outside the drama, (without the bangs) she is quite the knock out.
Yep, they will soon be recruiting Chinese actors over to their movies if this continues. Also the Chinese entertainment industry will suffer great losses as more Netizens start changing countries. BTW I really appreciated that CDramas didn't have sex, but the passionate kissing was fun to watch.
The YT Channel of Drama Updates "Marcus Here!" had Marcus, a few weeks ago, warning us about China doing some major censoring in 2023 . I am so glad we have good scenes from Dylan and Esther.
BTW the BTS with Bai Lu is the complete opposite of those with Esther Yu. Esther is just so charming and adorable and is so lively that she draws all her MLs in. HOWEVER, there is nothing with her MLs like with Dylan. BTW I have loved him since Miss The Dragon. And after LBFD, I am even more invested in him. It's funny that he is Dongfang reincarnated in this drama. lol

I saw a LIVESTREAM of Qin Jun Jie and Liang Jie "Side Story of Fox Valant" and he commented about the censorship on their drama. He said that they did a very passionate kissing scene 90 times to get it right and whoever decided to cut it out. He sounded unhappy about that. I am very disappointed cuz I am still watching this drama and couldn't wait for them to kiss....but sadly it sounds like all of us are going to get screwed. grrrrr smh NOBODY TELL ME ANY SPOILERS PLEASE, THANK YOU.
