Wow, that’s a lot of bitterness packed in one comment! But copying? Li Yitong’s charm and talent speak for themselves — no need to live in anyone’s shadow when you’re shining your own way. Meanwhile, throwing shade only shows how threatened some people are by her rising star.
Disappointing. First Liu Yu Ning drama I've ever dropped. Obviously not my cup of tea -- 18 minutes into episode…
Sounds like a skill issue tbh 😌 some of us made it past 18 minutes and found a gem — but it’s okay, not everything is meant for everyone. Hope your next drama doesn’t require a sense of humor ❤️
lol but her sister don’t seem to be bad just the script kinda bad her that way while the emperor just like that…
Bestieee yes!! In the script she was the other woman, just like Nan Heng was written as the villain—but we both know that’s not who they really are deep down. The real versions are breaking out and I’m living for it 😮💨🔥
As for that crusty, dusty, emotionally constipated Emperor?? May every cup of tea he drinks be lukewarm. May his royal robes itch. May his sleep be haunted by guilt
EP-5 - My bro is just a chill and innocent guy who’s being hunted by a crazy, seductive witch. So sad.
Be serious 😭 Your “chill and innocent” bro literally tried to kill her like three times. If anything, she’s the one trying to survive while being gaslit by a prince with trust issues and a sword 😭🗡️
No wonder he chose to become Li Shiliu. As Nan Heng, he’s constantly surrounded by pressure, suspicion, and people treating him like he’s the villain before he even opens his mouth. No warmth, no trust—just duty and isolation.
But as Li Shiliu, he finally got a taste of peace. He could hide behind the mask, say wise things, be kind without people twisting it, and maybe, just maybe, feel like a person instead of a weapon . He could protect in silence instead of being feared. And you can tell—he liked being that version of himself.
This drama is seriously doing something to my heart and brain. The emotions, the visuals, the chemistry—it’s all too good. After the 2 episodes I’m just sitting there like… now what?? 😭 All I can think about is this drama. It’s living in my head rent-free and I don’t even want it gone. I need more episodes ASAP 😩🔥
I’m obsessed with this drama 😭 li shi liu is so gentle and wise, but as Nan Heng he’s cold and scary—like the world forced him to be tough. And song yi meng ?? Hilarious and chaotic in the best way. I love them both sm 🩷
Li Ye Tong seems to have channeled Bai Lu for this role. I usually don't enjoy comedies, but this one is mostly…
So we’re just comparing every actress who does comedy now? That’s such a lazy take. Li Yitong is killing this role in her own way—no need to downplay her performance by acting like she’s copying someone else.
You call her hate valid, then turn around and say she’s acting like an NPC? Be so serious. The man’s tried…
I get what you’re saying, and I appreciate you explaining! She might come off extreme, but from her view, she’s reacting to real trauma — and she probably sees him as the ML with the upper hand, not even fully real, which makes it easier to blame him.
And I’ll admit, I probably reacted strongly because there’ve been so many unfair comments toward the FL lately — it’s honestly exhausting. I do feel bad for the ML too, and I really believe we can sympathize with him without hating on the FL so much.
Sorry if I came off too harsh — that wasn’t my intention 💗
Whenever a FL character is written differently from what you like they are always called annoying, unlikable, etc.…
Exactly!! People act like she’s being unreasonable, but she’s literally trying to survive a man who’s done nothing but harm her — and is still lying and scheming. But sure, let’s keep calling the woman annoying for not playing nice with someone plotting against her. The bar is truly on the floor.
