imo i wasnt killing girl u just became friends w, but killing a new mother or her newborn daughter. therefore the grandmother was in a conflict as her mother herself. she knows that motherly need to protect their kid. and she wasnt gonna let her son break that up

i really like how the writers n the directors gave every kid or every storyline its own track. the balance is so nice, it reminds me always home with every kid dealing w family problems, but i think this was done so much better in terms of pacing n depth into each character, n the situation.

i feel like a lot of ppl are comparing beiyu n qiaoyu which is obvious but their living conditions are different and how it affected their mother.

the mom did not have any sort of watch of beiyu, and yes the husband cause that to happen because they left them w the family n they were suppose to watch her n failed. this ended up resulting in anxiety which is the affect of moms parenting towards qioayu, the over controlling, etc.

it another family situation where each sibilngs grew up w the different type of parents.

i agree w the almost everything here, when i see the edits on tiktok n see “___ called 1000 times” its cool that you love that story n that character but take some time to appreciate another character. i have watch multiple of zhou yi ran works n i genuinely think this is one of the work where you can see his growth as an actor. from being a side character in falling into your smile to nonchalant in wifty n little more scary is you are my desire to this. (i dont watch historic dramas sorry) because they dont know when they mention other dramas it affect the current drama thats airing.

regarding the show YES people tend to forget that mumu is a child of abuse (it does get touch on more in episodes) but im on the side where she didnt mean it out of ill intent and she did it as a friend of both.

i think the episodes that got released 13, 14 tells u a lot more about mumu n ming sheng story n honestly it heartbreaking.

i agree w this statement sm. there were no previous hints of mumu crushing on ming sheng therefore i never saw it as ill intent or jealously. i really do believe that she was doing it as a friend of both of them not just ming sheng.

regarding the first frost n this show. a lot of ppl say that if u like the first frost to watch this but i lwk disagree. now yes there is a lot of parallel n similarities but both still have a different vibe and purpose of both shows. like just looking at the way the shows are color graded n presented they are every different imo.

but this epsiode was the romance side of the show n was very cute

i agree that the whole qiaos family need ALOT OF rebuilding to do with their sexist ways, but im also glad to see a little bit more backstory to the mom. tbh im still like mixed feeling because one scene we see her trying to get back her daughter but then another she slapping her. but disregarding her, i dislike the aunt n the grandparents sm. like you cant even visit your own granddaughter grave (barely a grave)

beyui is an older sister, they kinda touch on the 3 kids later in the episodes but not regarding the one child rule

im not sure if im just confused but when the mom was talking bout the whole “grandparents stole her away” do u think its like the “sold off to marry” that was told to qingyu from the cousin. (no spoilers for me pls i havent read the book)

I finish it! It was pretty good however I was reading some of the reviews and I would have to agree with some of them. The beginning had a lot of plot but near the end, there wasn't much. And I wish there was something more consistent for example, we had the e-sport in the beginning but then died away after winning, I wish that either continue or we were introduced to something newer. The scenes of the workplace were really cool! I love when the ML came to GL setting place in the dessert that was really cool.

I absolutely love this show!
