they called each other exes though...
Actually when they're arguing, she says ' We quarrel every single day, I'm just the trans ex gf you forgot about' but I think she meant it in humor and not literal. Idk I've been rewatching and their interactions seem very playful like yes if they were serious ex-es then would he be playfully calling her darling or sending flying kisses? Today it struck me cuz P'Nuchy was talking about actor Weir in her ig (cuz his romance life is in the news rn) and P'Nuchy put up a lot of couple like pics etc and was playfully saying 'I refuse to believe and I have pics to prove'. Anway lol it's a minor thing but I was wondering.

I know this is gonna be controversial and that's why I've waited to say this cz I was hoping we'd get more confirmation,…
I think they just playfully call eo ex-wife and darling etc.
Mainly because when Gram confessed to Yok about his love, he mentioned that he was hooked since the first time. Now supposing his unrequited love is Black or even Eugene, he would have met Black, Eugene and Nuch around the same time in Uni (Eugene maybe later). So either he was actually with Nuch and pining over another person, or he's never been w Nuch or the person he was talking about is Nuch.

It also distracted me!! But how long has Black been in a coma?
6 to 9 months is too much. It's barely 1 month or 2 months if you go by the fact that they're still in the same semester. The Tawi fire was already planned by Black before he got hospitalised and the way none of the gang asked him where he was, pretty sure he was lost only for a few days. The online attention began at the time of the fire and White creating that hashtag was just a day or so after the factory incident and the protest gathered quick momentum. This wouldn't need months of planning at all.
SeanWhite falling in love timeline is quick because they have a lot of huge emotiomal situations that constantly bring their attention to eo. I agree that Black waking up and immediately fighting is exaggerated but in medical situations recuperation periods differ on fitness of the individual. Black was already a hardened fighter and if you've seen real life pro fighters injury history, they get back on their feet a lot quicker. The jumpings are obviously fake like the one thing I can find to nit pick in the series is on the wire action sequences. So not done believably.

This episode had a LOT to take in.
I am in love with how SeanWhite are in love!
That ThumpThumpThump dialogue is tattooed on my brain.
The constant consents, White just whole heartedly giving in, Sean (he knowsss) reassuring White that THIS version of him is what he loves.
Them asking if they were ok at the same time, Sean just treating White like precious goods, Sean sharing even more secrets w White, Sean shielding White from possible harm in the garage ,the lil pecks of reassurance. Them being so open about their relationship and so upfront w Namo. God I love their romance 🤧
But bitchy Black gonna take that away from me next week!!
Dan is just even moree sus this ep, istg if he is just playing Yok we gotta unleash every wrath on him. If not I still don't know how Yok will handle knowing EVERYTHING, I will need him to atleast side w Sean until Sean finds it in him to move on.

I need bl shows to start being realistic when it comes to men having sex with each other spontaneously like that…
Lol I get you but Thai censorship rules ,specially for series airing on TV,is very strict. A deep kiss more than 10secs is considered immoral. The SeanWhite kiss scenes on YouTube are the longer versions, the TV versions are shorter and cut at angles. Even the love scene shown in this ep the TV version was a bit toned down.

I wanna see Sean coo over White in glasses and ruffle his permed hair!
The word Gun used was 'rot' which means kinda like transport so it could also be a bike. But I wouldn't mind Sean in White's car.

Did anyone else find the kiss between Sean and Black to come without enough build up from prior episodes? I mean,…
I think I can see what you mean but I personally think this wasn't a sexual kiss in the first place rather as a way of Sean sealing the fact that White's existence was one of his reasons to keep going. And pretty sure Sean has figured out so he really let go and showed his gentle side to White in that abandoned building right from when they met. While White still has hesitation and he's still keeping his feelings in check because he's afraid Sean may not be able to handle him revealing he is White. Funny thing is most of us expected a kiss when Sean shares his past w White so the rooftop kiss really did catch everyone off guard but it still felt right.

This was a very good episode! For some reason, I am not very into Black (White)/Sean CP, I don't know why, so…
I feel like it's difficult to see SeanWhite falling in love because they've been Sean And Black till now. So it's more nuanced and more of the
changes within themselves. They can't be making heart eyes at each other or blatantly flirting because well they're Sean and Black, people who've been tolerating each other at best.
Idk if that explains it well. For me Sean was finally able to accept his growing feelings this ep and when White will finally be able to be White, I feel like the moments will be a lot sweeter.

Here I am to wax poetic about SeanWhite cuz that kiss has left me in a puddle. The kiss scene itself and it's…
The fact that in the beginning of this ep Sean says he had found no reason to live until Black's plan and ends with him confessing to White that he was also his reason to live. God help me!!
In White's room when Sean shares his past it felt like Sean had trusts issues everywhere. From his dad betraying his trust, his friends not trusting him, the world not trusting them and his mother dying because of broken trust. And then White comes in as that single person who says he trusts Sean, no wonder Sean was happy. Him simply waking up and taking in White was beautiful, but again it doesn't just take one night and he had to make sure. I do think the tying up was cz he was on edge by what he'd just discovered. But his talk w Gumpa seems to have given him context because from the moment he enters the abandoned building and finds a stool for White, helps him in and talks to him it feels like he knows he's w Not Black.
And then the little hints of him asking to race, saying White was good at spying and he was the right one, Sean was in full on flirt mode as well as test mode. The entire rooftop conversation from when White says they're in this together and he knows Sean is good, all of it feels like more assurances for Sean that White actually is going to be there for him. Then the epic trust fall test. When White asked Sean if he wondered what they'd be doing if they hadn't been doing these things, it felt like White was indirectly asking what Sean would feel if they hadn't met as Sean and Black. And Sean's answer being that Black's plan gave him a goal to live but White's existence was too. That forehead kiss at first was everything! The little hesitancy White has when the kiss begins and how Sean lets him take his time to see if White want's it too. Ahh such wonderful warm feelings.

I'm trying so hard to like this series but I just don't. I am just bored. They have emotional discussions about…
Firstly you should watch the official trailer for this which was released in Nov 2021, the one you saw was a rough one and the vibe and mood of the series is better reflected in the latter.
Now I understand you're trying to relate to the content but you can't seem to and Idt you'll be able to further on if it still hasn't connected with you till now.
Still I'm going to put my perspective on the things you've mentioned so maybe it helps?
I think Tawi is more of a concept of the evil present in society today, capitalism, corruption and crime. You may not know THIS Tawi but there are plenty of real life Tawis who u will know, think of him as a Trump or a Bezos and a lot of his evil has been narrated rather than potrayed so it's like reading actual news. Personally I don't think I need to see Tawi doing evil to understand that he is evil but I do think we'll see Tawi in 'action' soon enough.
While the politics and law lectures have been in your face I feel contrarily the romance has been nuanced in this. SeanWhite aren't happening out of the blue, the hand holding is more a prelude and important moment to show their relationship dynamics changing. They aren't in love, yet. From their first interaction White has been intrigued by Sean cz he wasn't able to figure whether he was Black's friend or enemy, but overtime White has slowly been understanding Sean and the way he speaks of Sean in his lil inner monologues clearly show his fascination. Maybe it's because White has been seeing Sean's vulnerability and pain during the nightmares but White actually 'cares' for Sean. And Sean in turn has been thrown in a loop BECAUSE of the care. 'Black' was someone who ditched him, got him suspended, who wouldn't care if Sean was killed or not but White is here saying his life matters. Sean may have thrown White's hand cz of the mere shock of the closeness but he was also the only one who was worried when White couldn't handle the bitter powder taste. After the choking White knows Sean was doing it for his father, maybe he's been piecing things w the nightmares so he understands it was in the heat of the moment (but I'm pretty sure it will be addressed in ep8) and Sean in turn has had time to realise that White was right all along (Yok and his mother's conversation put him under a lot of guilt). Sean obviously went to apologise but I think he chose not to do that there because it wasn't the place for it Under the flag when he held White's hand it felt like he did it to show that this was a combined victory, that they achieved something together. It feels like THE moment when they are starting to trust eo. Again alot of it is down to interpretation and a lot of retrospectiveness and honestly if the subject matter doesn't interest you irl then this series won't.

Dan is a sus character to me. Firstly he's a cop, secondly he goes around painting anti-capitalist anti-corruption murals but then lowkey is a police apologist as well.. and the nft talk. I hope it was just talk because that would make Dan the complete antithesis of UNAR. First and Gawin are very pretty people but DanYok this ep wasn't much appealing to me, maybe cz the way they dropped down to addressing eo as Phi Nong easily and them talking about art gave me very senior junior vibes (a junior with a crush tho). Yok is such a reckless character and I find that very interesting.

Ep7 Pride Flag scene has officially broken me. That scene is etched in my brain and I have watched it an uncountable no. of times. As a homosexual living in a homophobic asian country I realised that I will NEVER get to see such representation on TV, I wanted to be there! My envy, love and pride for this scene is indescribable. The way it's shot.. poetry in motion istg. I just learned the flag they used was the one from the real life same sex marriage protest, I am floored at the details. One activist said, just like how the pride flag took so many people to raise it, it's the same in real life, every support counts.
And the SeanWhite development! Look away I'm about to write an essay. That moment under the flag has so much symbolism. It's a moment of shared jubilation, a moment of glory. Sean's motive was realised by White, this has been what he has been wanting desperately; for the world to see that Tawi is evil, for pple to stand against Tawi. The plans were not flawless but it left an impact and to see it's fruition! it even brought brooding Sean a smile. And White's unbridled joy, I can only think of how he said he wanted everyone to be on Sean's side and that was achieved here. They met each other half in all senses.
They aren't in love right now but they are on their way to it and I have a feeling it'll be as beautiful as this beginning.
(The choking part I presume will get addressed, saw Sean give White a bloody nose previously so I don't think the 'violence' is the main point bt the intent)

I think there's a serious disconnect between people who are just watching the show and the ones who have been privy to the director's and scriptwriter's interviews that explain their thought process. Again before someone says, I am not saying one is better than the other but maybe understanding each other would be better.
Some of the easter eggs in this show may put into perspective why there are die hard defenders .
1. The director is a very famous award winning trans woman who has been applauded for her previous works. So a lot may feel she knows what she is doing.
2. They've actually taken the time to insert a lot of topics that resonate with Thai citizens.
For eg. In the recent ep6 when Sean was drunk, White uses a crosswalk analogy where he tells Sean that 'even though the law behind a crosswalk is that the car should stop for a pedestrian it never gets enforced properly and at the end if you lose your life that way people will instead question whether you looked left and right.
Weirdly in actual reality a week or so back in Thailand a female doctor was killed at the crosswalk by a speeding unlicensed driver. The driver was from the police and wasn't incarcerated, instead the victims body was hidden so that it took quite a while for the family to even know of it and this
became a national headline. To escape judgement the said murderer decided to ordain themselves which became another issue, only after much hue and cry is the case now being taken seriously.
That one situation alone explains the issue of privilege and Impunity that was talked about in the show.
In ep 2 Gram's monologue about the rule of Law he explains that Tawi was getting away w building a resort in forest land when villagers who have been living there their whole life were being tried as encroachers. The location where they shot them going to the said resort is a real life contested forest land area and guess what even the villagers from there are fighting cases for legal rights while illegal resort owners over there are getting away with flimsy threats of demolition.
The art depicted as UNAR's in the series is from a real life political artist and every art is a criticism of actual real life corruption cases.
There are so many other things that have been precisely used with precise intention and personally I find it fascinating.
I know a lot would still not find this interesting because it doesn't interest them and it's perfectly okay, but when this is a forum for discussion don't be surprised that there is actual discussions happening.

I think quite a few people were questioning how dumb it was for Gram to yell Yok's name and for Sean to yell Black's name and personally my plausible explanation is that these are their Thai nicknames. Nicknames are usually some of the most basic words and Thai citizens do not have any official documentation of their nicknames. If the police has to search for a Black, Gram or Yok then there are thousands irl. The fingerprint is also a debatable topic since the police actually do first corroborate w criminal records first. It isn't done en masse and if you aren't a suspect it is difficult to get it traced back. Plus it's expensive and if it isn't a high profile crime then police choose not to waste funds.

Title Not Me
Sean said the correct thing about the fingerprints you know, if they don't have it stored in government databases…
That's a long comment. The fingerprint check thing, usually people get caught because they already have a past criminal record or if they are a suspect then it is easier to narrow down. When a crime occurs the police do not check the fingerprints from the entirerity of the country's population they do it from their criminal records. It's a costly procedure, if it isn't a high profile crime then the police do not waste their funds on it.
About their plans being immature, I think theres another comment out here that explains that their plans aren't flawless, they make mistakes that are expected of passionate angry youth. They aren't a professional espionage group. The yelling of the names, personally I reason it out to Thai nicknames being the most basic words. There isn't just one Gram there are like a thousand and plus none of their legal documents actually has their nickname on it. In Tawi's case we gotta remember he isn't just hated by a few people, he is hated by a huge majority so narrowing his enemies is difficult. White showing his face was a major fail and that's why Sean gets mad. Again it's an extremist mentality, we can of course argue and have different views about the morality
behind their actions. The burning building they stressed they thought it was empty, they didn't go there to kill they went to make a statement. I don't see them throwing tantrums I see them as young men that have felt wronged by the powerful, men who have had no closure, who are suffocated by the state of the society. And again personally Cinema can never be flawless, it's how you interpret it. There will always be differences in tastes. Sean White aren't a couple yet (as much as people have been shipping them), so it's far-fetched to already judge their upcoming actual relationship as toxic. Separately I think both of them have been very good to their current lovers , Sean and Namo seem to have a v supportive relationship and even White w his Russian girlfriend was nice. It's how they'll change when they fall in love w eo that matters. And I suggested dropping it because I saw the word forced and I always feel if you don't enjoy something then why keep watching. I know being in fandoms nowadays
means 'supporting' everything your idols do but I think you can still dislike some of their works.
